The document summarizes a research day for grade 11 students preparing for their Extended Essay (EE). It includes a plenary session at the library to review the research cycle and different source types. Students will then break into groups for hands-on sessions - one to break down their research question and identify keywords to search library resources, compiling an initial bibliography. The other group will answer questions using library resources. The goal is for students to understand research is cyclical and the library is essential, and to be able to evaluate and select reliable sources for their EE topics.
