The seminar focused on three main ideas: providing awareness and critical reflection of ongoing research, helping PhD students prepare their work and identify collaborators, and contributing to a shared identity for the School of Digital Technologies. The schedule prioritizes presentations from PhD students and ongoing research projects. Issues around integrating the curriculum and research seminar across study areas were discussed, along with creating more transparency of research topics and themes. Ideas for the future include providing a more critical forum for discussion and giving PhD students more guidance on developing their research over time.
