Purpose of the study
The impact of microfinance on expending of small business and poverty
alleviation. This research is depends upon to find out the solution of the problems which is written
down. The first problem is which face by the small business’ owners is that the low investment
poweror low capital.The 2nd one is to find out the impact of the microfinance to expand the small
(individual) business and poverty alleviation.
Problem statements
The problem is that how small business’ owners overcome the
problem of low capital investment, and how they expand their business throughout the
microfinance institutions. What kind of role played by microfinance institutions to alleviate
poverty.
Scope of the study
This research analysis the problem which occur in small business
and provide the results about prior difficulty which faced by the small individual business. Like
low investment power and how to overcome? This study will analyze impact of microfinance to
alleviate poverty.
Relevance of the study
This research paper recognizes Islamic micro-finance as an
important component in poverty alleviation strategies. While conventional microfinance products
have been successful in Muslim majority countries, these products do not fulfill the needs of all
Muslim clients. While taking an overview of Islamic microfinance in Muslim countries, this
research paper undertakes a case study of Akhuwat, an Islamic microfinance organization
operating in Pakistan. Critical financial analysis of Akhuwat indicates that it is providing its
services for all living below the poverty line including the “extreme poor” and Interest free loans
can be used as a powerful tool against poverty. (Dr.Waheed AkhterNovember 14, 2009)
This paper analyzes the impact of a microfinance institution (MFI) serving small informal
enterprises in Antananarivo (Madagascar). The methodology consists of comparing over time the
situation of a representative sample of clients’ enterprises with a control group, constructed in an
almost experimental way through a standard propensity-score matching technique. Overall, the
results indicate a positive impact of the project. (Flore Gubert May 2011).
There is a strong relationship between microfinance and poverty alleviation. The results also
showed that Microfinance Scheme help people to improve their living standard and provide them
financial opportunity to expand their business. Microfinance is the key strategy that leads to
quick revival of economy, increase in living standards and empowerment. In Bahawalpur, total

3. 26 different Banks, NGOs and other informal organizations are providing microfinance to the
low income group of this area. (Sunia AYUUB Vol. 3, No. 1; January 2013).
The provision of financial services, especially credit and saving facilities plays an important role
in the development of the economy. Despite the efforts of microfinance institutions to take
microfinance services within the reach of poor people and MSEs that have not benefited from the
conventional formal financial system, growth and expansion of MSEs Sector had not shown any
sign of growth and expansion. The main objective of this study was to investigate the effects of
microfinance institutions lending on micro and small enterprises performance within Kitale

The research design
First of all I conduct the survey to those people who currently
doing small businessand face the problems of lowinvestment power (capital), for all living below
the poverty line and those people who want to run their own sole trader ship business. Then
Iproduce a questionnaire and distributed among those people and provide them some instructions
about the study and announce the time period, they are responsible to return the questionnaire
with in the allowed time. When we collect the paper from those respondents then I put collected
information for analysis and apply the different tests for converting that informationinto useful
data and generate the results.
Time frame
This research required appropriate time period. I require approximately 3
to 5 months for completion this research. I shall full try to done the work within the required
time.
