This study aimed to identify factors that contribute to willingness to donate blood among students at Port Said University in Egypt. A descriptive cross-sectional study used a convenience sample of 745 students, of which 633 fully responded to an online questionnaire about demographics, motivations, barriers, and knowledge related to blood donation. The results showed that males and those aged 20-21 were more likely to donate. While 21% of students had donated, donors had higher mean knowledge than non-donors. The top motivator for donors was helping patients, while the top barrier for non-donors was failing to meet requirements. Most supported increasing awareness, donation sites, and mobile units to promote donation.
