Meaning Of Research -: The word research composed of
a prefix “Re” and a verb “search”,
‘Re’ means “once again” and ‘search’ means “to look for
something” or examine closely & carefully.
Definition of research -: Research is a systematic method
of exploring ,describing ,explaining or establishing the
existence of phenomenon.

3. DEFINITION OF NURSING RESEARCH:-
Nursing research is a scientific ,systematic &orderly process to find
out solution of problem concern to nursing or generation and
refining nursing knowledge to improve quality of nursing care,
nursing education and nursing administration.
