To appeal to our young adult audience, our two main characters were teenagers portrayed as a serious young couple. We also gathered input from a questionnaire on how each character should be presented. The bedroom setting looked unpretentiously homely with personal touches like a photo of the characters. Viewers provided feedback that the locations looked realistic and fit well with the story. Most viewers correctly identified the genre as sci-fi based on props like a photo frame falling from an alien-caused shake and the actual appearance of an alien.
Ev 3
EV 3 learned several things from audience feedback on its media products. The final product and tasks were well-made but there was also negative feedback that could have been prevented. The audience felt the actor playing the mother did not look the part, so EV 3 changed the character to an aunt. They also suggested changing the park setting to somewhere more mysterious or at night. Taking this feedback, EV 3 was able to improve aspects from the draft to final version and create the best film possible with audience input.
6. evaluation sf 2017
Jake Greenwood evaluated his short film production process. He did research including surveys and reviews to understand his target audience. Planning like storyboarding and scheduling helped with production. His time management allowed filming ahead of schedule. Peer feedback noted the story and effects were good but exposure was too bright in parts. Jake agrees exposure issues need fixing and a watch would be clearer than a phone.

- 1. Weekly Newsletter THE DAILY MEDIA The latest on media filming locations. School –I have chosen to use this location because I feel that it will give my trailer a different edge, I have also chosen it because it’s a location I know well. I have visited this location to check that it will be appropriate for my filming. I don’t need permission to use this location. Issues: The only potential issues I may face is the fact that I will have to make sure I film on a day that I know the school hasn’t got something planned in the evening otherwise guests will be coming in and out of the short which will decrease the quality of the shot. PICTURE Graveyard- I have visited this location and don’t need permission to film there. The only issue I believe I may face is if there is a funeral taking place on the day of filming, this would mean that I would have to change my day of filming which may affect my ability to meet the deadline due to the availability of the actors on different days. PICTURE Church- I intend to use this location. I will call the priest to ask when it is most appropriate for me to go and do my filming. PICTURE The main issues I will find with this location are with planned events such as weddings, funerals, christenings.
