Honolulu Rail Transit Project, East Section CE&I/CM

ConstructionEngineering and Inspection Services (CE&I) for
the $2 billion dollar constructiononthe East Sectionof the
Honolulu Rail Transit Project (HRTP) for the Honolulu
Authority for Rapid Transportation. The HTRP will construct
a 20-mile passenger rail systemconnecting east Kapolei in
w est Oahu to Ala Moana Center in Honolulu’s dense urban
core with anticipated revenue service beginning in March
2019. The driverless system will be almost entirely grade
separated with anaverage spacing ofroughly one mile
between each ofits 21 passenger stations and will use “steel-
on-steel” technology.Responsible for all aspects of
constructionmanagement services for the East Section
construction, which will contain 12 passenger stations with
approximately 10 milesofelevated guideway. Stantec's team
is providing CE&I services, including constructability review,
resident engineering, constructioninspection, project controls,
