Representation is the construction of ideas of reality
which is presented in media.
This is how the media show us and make us believe
how the society is like, this can sometimes mean bias
might be on some sources sides and therefore make
the audience believe what is being presented.
This could change peoples opinions and feelings
towards something or someone.

Why is the representation created in that way? what is
the intension?
Who or what is being represented?(Class, Age,
Gender, and Ethnicity)
What is the effect of representation?
4. Stereotypes…
Representation also involves Class, Age, Gender, and
Ethnicity.
Women and men are stereotyped differently in anything
that is represented in media including films, TV, and news.
Women are usually represented as weak and vulnerable,
while men are represented as strong. Children are usually
stereotyped as vulnerable and weak which creates an
enigma that something might happen.
