This document reports on a study of pressure ulcer prevalence across several European countries. It provides data on over 11,000 patients, including details on hospital type, patient characteristics like age and medical condition, risk factors for pressure ulcers like limited mobility and incontinence, existing pressure ulcers among patients, and prevention methods in place like repositioning schedules and use of pressure-reducing equipment. The data was collected using the Minimum Data Set to standardize information gathering for comparative analysis of pressure ulcer rates and risks.
