 Software Research
 Where We Are Today
History
 Wanted to develop a work-site health program that mirrors the
positive behaviors and habits we encourage through our mission,
vision and values
 Conducted research, focused discussion and idea generation -
The In Motion Project was born
 Unveiled to our staff at our all staff training at the beginning of the
semester
 Program launched on September 1, 2014
 Not just about lifting weights or exercise
 wanted to incorporate nutrition, activity of all types (live in motion),
flexibility, and hydration
 Toyed with several platforms to launch our program
 Google Docs, Apps and eLearning (Canvas)
Project Overview
The world in motion, one Gator at a time
Tips, Tasks & Challenges
 Tips
 Weekly tips have been
developed to supplement
each challenge and task.
 Focus on active daily living,
nutrition, hydration, and
mobility.
 Tips are sent out on Mondays
 Created in collaboration with
our fitness staff to ensure
accuracy
Mobility Tip: Dynamic
stretching should be done
before a workout, save
the static stretching for
after! This will maximize
your stretching routine for
greatest mobility results.
ADL Tip: Use exercise to
improve schoolwork –
working out before class
or studying can help you
focus and remember
more.
Tips, Tasks, &
Challenges
 Active Daily Living (ADL)
 Resistance
 Flexibility
 Nutrition
 Hydration
 Teamwork
Tracking
 95210.org
 Self-Reporting
 “We expect your utmost integrity
and honesty when reporting your
completion of challenges. Dishonesty
in self reporting not only takes away
from the experiences of others, but it
also limits your own potential gain from
this program.”
 Track sleep, activity, fruits, veggies,
water and more
Points System
 Points are earned through participating
in the weekly activities, challenges,
bonus challenges, etc.
 Weekly Points
 Bonus Points
SWAG
 Weekly Prize Drawing
 Foam Rollers, Polar Heart
Rate Monitors, Nike Duffel
Bags, Nike Backpacks
 Highest Point Earner
 Shirt for all that complete
 Dri-FIT T-shirt
Feedback

 Emails helped remind
 Tips were great
 Idea of the program is
well liked
 Liked acknowledgments
 Inclusive to all people
Drawbacks
 Participants want easier
inputting
 Sunday is a difficult to
enter information
 When on Canvas, it felt
like homework
 Some students/staff
didn’t use Canvas
Feedback
Likes
 “Liked the incentives to
move. I liked the
challenges and tips - I
think they helped guide
some of the participants.”
 “It's an awesome way for
people to stay
accountable by
submitting progress each
week”
Drawbacks
 Rather input information
daily rather than for an
entire week
 Group aspect didn’t work
 Issues entering
information
Software Research
