Design and simulation of radio frequency
Abstract
Present day guided weapon systems, especially tactical class missiles use RF seeker, for target tracking towards terminal engagement. The seeker system including its antenna assembly will be onboard the missile. Due to the missile trajectory corrections, the seeker antenna pointing to the target may get disturbed resulting in track loss. To avoid this track loss, it becomes necessary to stabilize the antenna system in two planes. The fundamental role of stabilization loop in seeker application is to precisely follow the angular rate of the target. In order to achieve this requirement, it is essential to highly isolate the gimbaled antenna from the missile body motion due to the maneuvering of target or low frequency vibration during flight. However, the isolation ratio and stability margin of stabilization loop adopting the gimbaled platform with both low stiffness and heavy inertia are limited by mechanical characteristic such as low resonance frequency and its high magnitude. The selection of proper feedback sensors, modeling of the total system are key features of this project. In the end, the performance and the stability of designed stabilization loop are demonstrated using simulation in both frequency and time domain. The Hardware for the system is under realization by the Industry. The whole scheme is simulated in MATLAB off-line for this project.

An enhanced data driven model-free adaptive yaw control tracking control scheme is proposed for the yaw
channel of an unmanned-aerial-vehicle (UAV) helicopter which is non-affine in the control input in this paper. Through dynamic linearization and observer techniques, the proposed control algorithm is only based on the pseudo-partial derivative (PPD) parameter estimation derived online from the I/O data of the yaw channel of an UAV helicopter, and Lyapunov-based stability analysis is utilized to prove all signals of
close-loop control system are bounded. Compared with the traditional model free adaptive control
(MFAC), the proposed enhanced MFAC algorithm can make the close-loop control system with stronger robustness and better anti-jamming ability. Finally, simulation results of the UAV yaw channel are offered to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed novel control technique.

Refueling
- 2. Overview The Refueling Spotter’s Tool is a tracking device for the Tech Spec specified conditions during refueling in-vessel operations. The program is used by the refueling SRO and control room to track the status of each core location to ensure safety margins are maintained and to ensure Tech Spec compliance. The tool includes an overall view of the core, and magnified individual quadrant views. The design of graphic elements allows the screen to match the core in appearance, as viewed from the refueling bridge.
- 3. Fuel Bundle Aide Fuel locations can be tracked with old fuel, new fuel, a blade guide, or empty.
- 4. Fuel Bundle Aide (cont.) Information is given to confirm the selected bundle matches the bundle observed from the bridge: Bundle core location (31-44) Channel fastener location (NE) Cell count from core edge (3 cells from North, 5 cells from East) Bundle location within the cell (SW Bundle)
- 5. Control Rod Aide Cells can show the control rod inserted, withdrawn, uncoupled, removed, and CRDM removed.
