Reflexive verbs show an action done to oneself. They have two parts: a reflexive pronoun like "me", "te", or "se" and a verb. Common reflexive verbs in Spanish include despertarse (to wake up), levantarse (to get up), cepillarse (to brush oneself), and ducharse (to shower). The reflexive pronoun comes before a conjugated verb or is attached to an infinitive or present participle.
