What difference has this project made to
addressing equity in VET policies and provision?
• New evidence on the extent of social inclusion within
pilot schools

• Enhanced awareness and responsibility of schools
towards social inclusion mechanisms
• Enhanced awareness of social partners for their role
on social inclusion
What measures have been taken since the
project started?
Widening/strengthening of the social inclusion concept in
designing new documents (career orientation and professional
practice) and implementation of policies
(example from the Strategy for Career Guidance: it foresees
training of career guidance officer specifically for low
performers)
In school development plan social inclusion has been decided to
be incorporated including: infrastructure; for learning; for
improving student results
What measures are in the pipeline?
Incorporation of social inclusion in school
development plan
Implementation of school development plan
Increase the number of social inclusion indicators
for students
Dissemination of information to other schools
What is the greatest remaining challenge?
Increased budget
More teacher training

More and advanced equipments for workshops
Networking of VET schools at country level
Motivation of employers to offer internship places
