Write an informal narrative about "some" composing process of yours. Essentially, you will write a Reflective Self-Evaluation of yourself as a college writer. What exactly does that mean? It requires you to:
a. look back over a recently completed process
b. think reflectively about that process
c. critically evaluate what went well, what didn’t go well, or what you might have done differently
As the aforementioned examples suggest, reflective writing is writing that describes, explains, interprets, and evaluates any past performance, action, belief, feeling, or experience. To reflect is to turn or look back, to reconsider something in the past from the perspective of the present. So, in your final essay, you will reflect and make an evaluation of your experience in this course.
Remember, reflection involves multiple angles of vision. Just as light waves are thrown or bent back from the surface of a mirror, so, too, reflective writing throws our experience, action, or performance back to us, allowing us to see differently. We view the past from the angle of the present, what was from the angle of what could have been or what might be. Multiplying your angle of vision through reflection often yields new insights and more complicated (complex) understanding of the issue on which you are reflecting.
Professors generally look for four kinds of knowledge in reflective self-evaluation essays: self-knowledge, content knowledge, rhetorical knowledge, and critical knowledge (aka judgment). Following are ideas for each of these types of knowledge, which may be used to generate ideas for your essay. Choose only a few of the questions to respond to, questions that allow you to explain and demonstrate your most important learning for the course.

Write an informal narrative about "some" composing process of yours. Essentially, you will write a Reflective Self-Evaluation of yourself as a college writer. What exactly does that mean? It requires you to:
a. look back over a recently completed process
b. think reflectively about that process
c. critically evaluate what went well, what didn’t go well, or what you might have done differently
As the aforementioned examples suggest, reflective writing is writing that describes, explains, interprets, and evaluates any past performance, action, belief, feeling, or experience. To reflect is to turn or look back, to reconsider something in the past from the perspective of the present. So, in your final essay, you will reflect and make an evaluation of your experience in this course.
Remember, reflection involves multiple angles of vision. Just as light waves are thrown or bent back from the surface of a mirror, so, too, reflective writing throws our experience, action, or performance back to us, allowing us to see differently. We view the past from the angle of the present, what was from the angle of what could have been or what might be. Multiplying your angle of vision through reflection often yields new insights and more complicated (complex) understanding of the issue on which you are reflecting.
Professors generally look for four kinds of knowledge in reflective self-evaluation essays: self-knowledge, content knowledge, rhetorical knowledge, and critical knowledge (aka judgment). Following are ideas for each of these types of knowledge, which may be used to generate ideas for your essay. Choose only a few of the questions to respond to, questions that allow you to explain and demonstrate your most important learning for the course.
You may write about your composing process for academic papers or creative genres or a combination of both. Reflect as thoroughly as possible upon your writing process and explain it. - 1. Reflection on Industry Analysis I aspire to work as a Counsellor Psychologist when I graduated, and that is the industry I analysed on my Assignment I Industry Analysis. I cover the topics about the history of the industry, qualifications, values and attributes of professionals connected in that industry, my strength and weaknesses and also, my personal attributes and skills to be able to succeed as counsellor. I had fear on reviewing and giving feedback with my peers, because I was also thinking how they will assess my work, but doing it so giving feedback and looking at the rubric as a guidelines, gives me more opportunity to learn and improve myself in preparing my assignment in the future. Borton’s Framework What? General Feedback Great first attempt at a critical reflection. Although you provided broad references for this piece, there were several issues with the information that was presented. It seems you might be a little unclear about what the difference is between a psychologist, counselor and a counseling psychologist. For example: you need to complete be a registered psychologist to work as a school counselor. You also needed to discuss professional attributes relevant to your career goals, for example: if you plan on working as a school counselor/relationship therapist you needed to discuss the specific professional attributes of a clinical psychologist working in these areas. Also, your personal skills were vague. You clearly have several skills relevant to this area, however, did not contrast these closely with the profession. Check APA referencing and style guide as there were several issues each. Also, executive summary not relevant for this type of assignment. Overall, great first attempt - well done! So what? Reviewing the feedback they had given me, and as I read my assignment again it is pretty clear that I really missed something, or should I say I missed a lot. And this feedback serves as a learning process for me to improve more my critical thinking, and research technique in providing details in each assessment. Now what? Giving feedback and using marking rubric is very useful in assessing the assignment, it takes you to the right path in structuring essays, and gives you time to think if you’ve done wrong base on the rubric. I will continue to improve my written expression and critical thinking in analysing the given task that will help me not only in academic prospective but also serve as my foundation in achieving my goals in my professional career.
