To Whom It May Concern:
Since being hired as a sales assistant in December 1992, Dale Naab has proven to be
an extremely versatile and valuable employee to Martin Fireproofing. Besides mastering
the difficult position of Project Coordinator of Erected Jobs, Dale has also excelled as
the Director of Sales - Underground Mining Division.
As company owner and Dale's direct supervisor, I have been very fortunate to employ
someone so hard-working, professional and competent. Dale's ability to adapt as the
company's business model evolved has allowed us to assign Dale many varied roles
and responsibilities through the years. We could always count on Dale to succeed at
any task he was given.
As Project Coordinator of Erected Jobs, Dale was responsible for scheduling crews and
material deliveries, renting and purchasing equipment and supplies, scheduling safety
training, maintaining job and driver certifications, coordinating safety and drug testing
programs, reviewing and verifying crew expenses, licensing trucks and operators and,
most importantly, ensuring that erected jobs were completed on-time and within budget.
We relied on Dale's knowledge of the construction industry to deal appropriately with any
jobsite issues that may arise and to be our liaison with Superintendents, Project
Managers, Architects and Owners.
As Director of Sales - Underground Mining Division, Dale worked independently to grow
a niche sales market into one of our major revenue producers. Dale's duties included
making outside sales calls, attending trade shows, implementing sales presentations
and coordinating sales representatives and distributors. Dale's outgoing and
professional demeanor and his ability to nourish and maintain relationships have been
instrumental to this division's success.
It is unfortunate that Martin Fireproofing, due to economic constraints, is being forced to
consolidate our operations and, as a result, lose valued employees such as Dale Naab.
Dale has been a pleasure to work with these past 19 years and I know that he will be a
tremendous asset for any future employer.
Very truly yours,
