3. • School referral system is largely non-supportive
environment in school, lack of referral systems in schools,
stigma and discrimination.
• HIV related stigma significantly impacts on uptake of HIV
testing and adherence to HIV treatment.
• Due to stigma and discrimination in school youth are less
likely to undergo testing and or seek treatment
