3. The reegle Picture
• REEEP started an intensive marketing campaign to promote reegle in 2008
• Several new features and solutions have been introduced in 2008:
• Event cooperations (eg. WIREC 2008, Carbon Forum Asia 2008, EE-Global
2009, …)
• Experts Blog to keep users up-to-date
• Multilingual Options (French and Spanish will be introduced soon)
• A cooperation with 11 IEA Implementing Agreements has been established to
promote these task-groups via reegle.
• This resulted in an exciting growth of user numbers (see below)

recent years, we will introduce a brand-new

The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP)
is a Public-Private Partnership launched at the Johannesburg World
Summit in 2002. The REEEP aims to accelerate the global marketplace
for energy ef.ciency and renewable energy by actively facilitating
financing mechanisms for sustainable energy projects and structuring
policy initiatives for clean energy markets on the ground.

The Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century (REN21)
Is a global policy network aimed at providing a forum for international
leadership on renewable energy. Its goal is to allow the rapid expansion
of renewable energies in developing and industrial countries by
bolstering policy development and decision-making on sub-national,
national and international levels.
