She was able to get away and return home, but the trauma resurfaced when she saw him again years later. Mary sought counseling and support from a rape crisis center, which helped her process what happened and feel less alone. Though the abuse changed her life, with support Mary was able to move forward in a positive way.

Hani Khairunisa took a trip to Karimunjawa Island in July 2012 with five others. They spent four days and three nights on the island. Some of the highlights of the trip included snorkeling at several locations around the island and seeing beautiful coral reefs and many fish. The trip was a memorable experience for Hani to see the underwater paradise and beauty of the natural scenery in Karimunjawa.
