dengan konteks penggunaannya.

Tujuan Pembelajaran
 Mengidentifikasi fungsi social dan unsur kebahasaan teks
interaksi transaksional lisan dan tulis yang melibatkan tindakan
memberi dan meminta informasi terkait keadaan/ tindakan/
kegiatan/ kejadian yang dilakukan/terjadi, rutin maupun tidak
rutin, atau menjadi kebenaranumum di waktu lampau, sesuai
dengan konteks penggunaannya

INDIKATOR
Recount text adalah jenis text dalam bahasa
Inggris yang menceritakan tentang suatu cerita,
tindakan, atau kegiatan, biasanya menceritakan
tentang pengalaman seseorang yang bertujuan
untuk menghibur dan memberikan informasi
kepada pembaca.

 Orientation, It provides the background
information. It answer questions: Who? When?
Where? Why? What experience?
 Event, It presents events: What people do? It tells
the event chronologically. It uses conjunctions or
connectives like: First, next, then, finally, and so
on. They show the sequence of events.
 Re-orientation, It presents the concluding
comments. It expresses the author’s personal
opinion regarding the events described.
Generic structure of Recount Text.
Characteristics of recount text.
 Menggunakan kalimat past tense (lampau).
Menggunakan adverd dan adverbial phrase untuk
mengungkapkan waktu, tempat dan cara.
 Menggunakan conjunction dan time connectives untuk
mengurutkan peristiwa atau kejadian.
Contoh Recount Text.
This morning my friends and I went to EOS studio.
It’s not very far from our school, so we just rode our
bycicles. First, we met Shanti and Riko outside the
studio. Then, they took us into the studio and
showed us around. After that, we had lunch at EOS
canteen. The food was delicious. Before we went
home, we took some photographs wit Santi and
Riko.It was tiring but we was very happy.

room and watched a movie. Finally,every body feel asleep
there.
We woke up very late in the morning and had breakfast.
