ACCESSIBILITY:
Avenue campus: Building is situated on a busy road with plenty of parking opportunities.
There are also alternate methods of arriving by walking or catching the bus, there is bus
stop outside the campus. The location is easy to get to.
Town Centre: Easy and accessible location, many car parks to use. Had to make sure to be
careful with equipment when walking round the town, so we were not obstructing any
pathways for the public.
ELECTRICS:
Avenue: Basic rooms that were used for filming included offices and student union rooms,
we used electrics such as lights, so had to be careful when using them.
Town: The exterior scenes were filmed, so there was no use of electricity. However, it was
important to charge the cameras and other electrical equipment inside, to avoid the
batteries running out.
HEALTH AND SAFETY:
Avenue: It was important that the area is tidy as possible when in use, to avoid the risk of
tripping over wires and other objects that were used when filming. Also to use the lights
appropriately, and ensure they were turned off when not in use.
Town: When taking the equipment out, ensure that it was never left alone or left in car due
to security reasons and that there was no theft involved. To also ensure equipment was
safely put away and crew members were travelling around the town centre appropriately
not obstructing public pathways and not getting in the way of vehicles.
