David modeled how to give to God through tithes and offerings. He gave willingly and joyfully with integrity, mixing his giving with prayer. When giving, we should:
1. Worship God
2. Come with a sanctified heart
3. Give willingly and with joy
4. Pray for faithfulness in our giving
5. Make intercession
6. Close with more worship
David's example teaches us to give prayerfully in order to honor God and receive His blessing.
God tells Jacob to return to Bethel and build an altar there. Jacob instructs his household to abandon foreign gods and purify themselves. They give Jacob their foreign idols and he buries them. At Bethel, Jacob builds an altar and God reaffirms His promises to Jacob, changing his name to Israel. Jacob sets up a stone pillar commemorating God speaking to him there and names the place Bethel.
This document appears to be from a church and contains summaries of bible passages and teachings from a pastor. It discusses backsliding, or turning away from following God wholeheartedly. It notes that backsliding leads to troubles in one's life because sin produces its own consequences. It encourages the congregation to repent from sins of both commission and omission, and to draw close to God once again.
Daniel prays to God in confession, acknowledging their sins and rebellion against God's commands. He references prophecies of Jeremiah that foretold the seventy year exile in Babylon as punishment for their disobedience. Daniel pleads with God to have mercy and forgive them, not because of their righteousness but because of God's great mercy. He begs God to act for the sake of Jerusalem and his people, who bear God's name.

Dad visited and was updated on family matters. He recognized that Moses was becoming overwhelmed in his role as leader. Dad gave wise counsel by acknowledging the problem, gathering information, and providing solutions. He advised that Moses should delegate responsibilities to others, appoint judges to help govern the people, and continue serving by bringing cases to God and reminding people of His ways. This would help relieve Moses' burden and allow the work to be spread across more people.

Genesis 3.15, 21; 12.1-9 CBT Week One Faith-walkers 2019Lazarou Richard
This document provides a summary of Genesis 3:15, 21 and 12:1-9 from the Bible. It discusses how God required faith from Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden by laying out a prohibition. After the fall, God responded by beginning the redemption process through the protoevangelium in Genesis 3:15. The document then summarizes how God called Abram to leave his home and promised to make him a great nation, requiring Abram's faith in following God's command. It poses discussion questions about having faith in God's promises and not one's own understanding. The lesson teaches that God gives promises and looks for faith, while redemption comes through Jesus Christ.
8.23.15 - Sunday message - STRONG PRAYER LIFE CHANGESCatherine Lirio
This document discusses how developing a strong prayer life can transform one's life by conforming it to God's will and likeness. It provides several examples from scripture of how prayer changed people's attitudes, priorities, situations, and made them more useful to God. The document encourages spending time in prayer, surrendering one's will to God's, and renouncing spirits of doubt, deception and disobedience. It concludes by noting how prayer can change a person's whole life.
Most often when people are defending their sin they say 'Well God looks upon the heart'. This is a true statement but the bible says God will judge our deeds, not judge the heart. Therefore God is concerned with what's on the outside as it is a manifestation of what is on the inside.
In Part-1 of this series on the life of Abraham, we consider Abraham's life and some insights on how God calls us, and how we are people of faith journey into seeing His call fulfilled on our lives.

1. Daniel and his friends fasted from the king's food and wine at Babylon for 10 days to test if a vegetarian diet from God would make them healthier.
2. God blessed their acceptable fasting with godly character, 10 times better understanding than magicians, good health, and success before the king.
3. The Daniel Fast involves 3 levels - sheep (no meat/soft drinks), deer (half usual rice intake), and lion (veggies/fruits only). Our 90DC fasting is March 1-30 to fast for our 12 habits success, personal requests, and conquest.

God made promises to Abraham that his descendants would inherit the land of Canaan. This included both Isaac's descendants (the Israelites) and Ishmael's descendants (the Arabs). However, there were conditions for occupying the land - the Israelites must obey God's commandments. If they disobeyed, God would drive them out of the land and scatter them among the nations as punishment. Only when the Israelites finally return to God and obey him will they regain possession of the entire promised land. As of the time of this document, the Israelites had not yet returned to God, so they do not fully control the land.
God appeared to Solomon in a dream and offered to give him whatever he desired. Rather than asking for wealth or long life, Solomon humbly asked for wisdom to judge God's people rightly. Pleased by this request, God gave Solomon great wisdom beyond all others. To demonstrate his wisdom, Solomon resolved a dispute between two women over a baby by threatening to divide the living child in two, revealing the true mother who refused this division to save the baby's life. The judgment of Solomon in this case spread his fame for wisdom throughout Israel.
Abraham is called the Father of faith and we are called to walk in the steps of the faith of Abraham.
How did Abraham respond to the call of God, how did he journey into the promise and what happened after that?

The document summarizes key aspects of the Land Covenant between God and Israel as described in Deuteronomy. It outlines 8 provisions of the covenant, including that Israel would be disobedient and scattered, but would repent and be regathered by God to the promised land. God would bless Israel and judge their enemies when they returned to obeying His commands wholeheartedly. The Land Covenant ensured Israel's right to possession of the land unconditionally and was later confirmed by God through Ezekiel.
This document discusses the Davidic Covenant found in 2 Samuel 7:12-16. It provides three key points:
1) God promised David that his lineage and kingdom would last forever, with a future king from David's line, Jesus, sitting on the throne.
2) The covenant promises a dynasty from David's line, an eternal kingdom ruled by David's throne, emphasizing the unconditional nature of this promise to Israel.
3) The covenant will be fulfilled when Christ returns to rule over Israel as the descendant of David who sits on the throne forever, as described in passages like Isaiah 9:6-7, Jeremiah 23:5-6, and Luke 1:31-33.
The document summarizes the key provisions and confirmations of the Abrahamic covenant between God and Abraham as recorded in the book of Genesis. The main points are:
1) God promised Abraham that he would become a great nation, be given the land of Canaan as an everlasting possession, and that all nations of the earth would be blessed through him.
2) The covenant was confirmed through Abraham's descendants Isaac and Jacob, and would be marked by circumcision for all males.
3) Some provisions were immediately fulfilled, while others await complete fulfillment in the future, such as possession of the entire Promised Land, so the covenant remains in effect today.
This document provides the order of service for St. Barnabas (Chester) Anglican Church on August 26, 2012. The service includes hymns, scripture readings, prayers, and communion. It highlights the church's welcoming of all people and sharing of God's love in the community.
In Genesis 26 the patriarch, Isaac, committed the same sin as his father, Abraham. This chapter also provides us with a model for appropriate responses to conflict.
The document appears to be a call to worship service that includes songs, scripture readings, and a sermon focusing on faith. It contains the order of service, including sections for call to worship, worship songs, scripture readings on Abraham's faith and sacrifice of Isaac, and a message on keeping one's eyes fixed on Jesus. The document provides the content and flow for a Christian worship gathering.
The document discusses several biblical covenants between God and humanity:
1) The covenant with Adam established consequences for sin and enmity between humanity and Satan.
2) The covenant with Noah included God's promise to never again destroy the earth with a flood, symbolized by the rainbow.
3) The covenant with Abraham promised him descendants as numerous as the dust and gave him the land of Canaan.
4) The covenant with David established his dynasty over Israel and God's protection of his kingdom forever.
5) The new covenant through Jesus as high priest fulfills and surpasses earlier covenants by forgiving sins and writing God's law on people's hearts.
Daniel prayed earnestly for Israel's sins to be forgiven and the desolation of Jerusalem to end. While praying, the angel Gabriel appeared and told Daniel that God had heard his prayer. Gabriel was sent to give Daniel insight and understanding about future events. Daniel's example shows that God answers the prayers of those who pray fervently and confess their sins and the sins of their people. Believers today face difficulties and need to pray with the same intensity and faith that God will answer their prayers as well.
Nehemiah 9 describes a stirring from God’s Spirit. Conviction of sin leads to confession and ultimately manifests itself in spiritual revival. The pattern we see in Nehemiah 9 is reflected in all the great spiritual revivals throughout history.

Daniel prays in repentance for the sins of Israel. He acknowledges their disobedience to God's laws and their rebellion, which resulted in Jerusalem's desolation. Daniel seeks God's forgiveness through prayer, fasting, and repentance. He asks God to have mercy on Jerusalem and the people. God answers Daniel's prayer of repentance and intercession for Israel. The next year, Cyrus issues a decree allowing the Jews to return and rebuild Jerusalem and the temple, showing God's forgiveness of Israel according to His promises.
This document discusses biblical prophecies about the sanctuary in heaven and the antichrist power that opposes God. It describes how the antichrist power thinks to change God's law and times, and commits spiritual fornication by leading people away from God's truth. It warns that this power will try to enforce false worship and a mark of authority against God's law, but calls God's people to remain faithful to his commandments.
Daniel has a vision from God where he sees a man dressed in linen. The vision terrifies those around him, but Daniel is able to see it. He feels weak after the vision. The man touches Daniel and tells him not to fear, as he has come in response to Daniel's prayers. Daniel has been praying for understanding from God. The man explains that the spirit of Persia blocked him from coming for 21 days, but Michael helped him overcome. He has come to explain future events to Daniel and help him understand. Three things to remember when standing in faith are that God cares more about you than you do, God is doing more than you understand, and God hears the cry of your heart.

Arioch then explained the matter to Daniel. 16 At this, Daniel went in to the king and asked for time, so that he might interpret the dream for him.

Book of Daniel, part 2 (Bible prophesies for the last times series)Anar R Guliyev
The document discusses two groups of God's people that are mentioned in Revelation:
1) The 144,000 who meet Christ alive on Mount Zion and are sealed to be protected from tribulations.
2) The great multitude that comes out of great tribulation, who are resurrected to stand before the throne of God. Both groups ultimately meet together with Christ, with the resurrected rising first followed by those alive being caught up.
The story of Daniel and his friends is presented as a foreshadowing of these two groups, with Daniel representing the 144,000 who remain faithful until the end, and his friends representing the great multitude who face tribulation but are saved.
The document contains lyrics praising God's greatness and sovereignty. It discusses how God wraps himself in light and darkness trembles before him. God is described as ageless, in control of time, and comprised of the Father, Spirit and Son. The lyrics express taking refuge under God's wings during times of trouble. The second part discusses Ezekiel's prophecy about God's love for Jerusalem despite her unfaithfulness, and Cyrus freeing the exiles to return and rebuild Jerusalem according to prophecy.
Book of Baruch, ancient text purportedly written by Baruch, secretary and friend of Jeremiah, the Old Testament prophet. The text is still extant in Greek and in several translations from Greek into Latin, Syriac, Coptic, Ethiopic, and other languages. The Book of Baruch is apocryphal to the Hebrew and Protestant canons but was incorporated in the Septuagint and was included in the Old Testament for Roman Catholics. The work is a compilation of several authors and is the only work among the apocrypha that was consciously modeled after the prophetic writings of the Old Testament.

1. Faith is the basic concept of Christianity and qualifies one as a Christian through their relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
2. Faith implies not understanding everything and not being able to do everything, but having substance in hoped for things and evidence of unseen things.
3. Standing in faith means believing that God cares more than we do, is doing more than we understand, and that His strength is made perfect in our weakness.
The document discusses how angels and spirits are ministering spirits sent by God to serve those who will inherit salvation. It provides examples from scripture of angels strengthening Jesus, rescuing Peter from prison, and fighting against spiritual forces on behalf of God's people. The key point is that angels are released through prayer, speaking God's word, and prophesying God's word, in order to accomplish God's purposes and help those who are faithful to Him.
God gave us His Word for a purpose. God wants us to be with Him in heaven. To do this we must change from serving Satan to serving God. God gave His Word so we would know how to live our lives. God gave His Word so we would change.

The book explain many character about the Coded Creater that knows everyone but no one really knows Him.
As you read may God open your inner eyes to the truth and may you live to tell others about God's goodness to us all.
This book is compiled to boost your faith, increase your understanding about the persons of God and many more.
The passage provides a summary of the 24th Sunday After Trinity readings which address faith in God amid trials and tribulations. It notes how Exodus describes Israel worshipping a golden calf after Moses delays in returning from Mount Sinai, showing their quick abandonment of faith. Job and the Psalms lament over human frailty and mortality. 1 Thessalonians and Matthew speak of Christ's future coming in glory. Luke discusses the coming of God's kingdom. The readings as a whole highlight how faith in Christ comes through hearing his word, and will be vindicated at his return, when all will see his salvation.
The Blueprint-ii-the-blueprint-cast-down-juicedAntonio Bernard
This document summarizes prophecies from the books of Daniel and Revelation regarding the little horn power and its 1260 day/year prophecy. It shows how the earthly sanctuary services were replaced by Rome after Christ's ministry ended, fulfilling Daniel's prophecy of the daily sacrifice being taken away. It lists 5 ways the papacy cast down God's truth: 1) Replacing Christ's sacrifice with penance and indulgences, 2) Replacing baptism with infant sprinkling, 3) Replacing the Bible with traditions, 4) Replacing Christ's mediation with confession to priests, and 5) Plunging Europe into the dark ages. The document uses the year-day principle to calculate the 1260 prophetic
Light of the world is a sermon on the I AM statements of JesusEd Sullivan
1. Jesus declares himself to be the light of the world, angering the Pharisees. He claims his testimony is true because he knows where he came from and is going, unlike them.
2. When the Jews question his identity, Jesus reveals he is from above and they are from below, and unless they believe he is the "I am", they will die in their sins.
3. After further disputes over faith and works, Jesus declares the Jews' true father is the devil because they do not accept his word and instead seek to kill him for telling them the truth from God. In the climax, Jesus declares before Abraham was, "I am", deeply angering the Jews who try
Bread Of Life. The first in a series on the "I AM" sayings of Jesus Christ.Ed Sullivan
The document discusses Jesus' declaration that he is the "bread of life" from the gospel of John chapter 6. It provides context that Jesus said this after feeding a large crowd with just a few loaves of bread and fish. Jesus states that whoever believes in him will never hunger or thirst. The Jews question this because they know Jesus' family, but he emphasizes that God has sent him. Jesus doubles down that one must eat his flesh and drink his blood to have eternal life, which confuses and offends many of his disciples.
More Than- a teaching on John 3:1-21 when Nicodemus came to JesusEd Sullivan
1. Nicodemus visits Jesus at night to learn from him as a rabbi. Jesus tells him that one must be born again of water and spirit to enter God's kingdom.
2. Jesus compares being born again to the Israelites' passage through the Red Sea and Moses lifting up the bronze serpent to cure snake bites, foreshadowing his death on the cross.
3. God sent his son Jesus not to condemn the world but to save it, and whoever believes in him will have eternal life rather than perish. However, those who do evil hate the light of truth.
1. John the Baptist was a prophet sent by God to prepare the way for Jesus and testify about the coming Messiah. He baptized with water and preached repentance.
2. When questioned about his identity, John the Baptist denied being the Christ or Elijah, but said he was the voice crying out in the wilderness as prophesied by Isaiah.
3. John the Baptist testified that Jesus was the Son of God and Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, having seen the Spirit descend upon him at his baptism. His role was to decrease as Jesus' influence increased.
The Word existed eternally with God and was God. All things were created through the Word. The Word became flesh as Jesus Christ and dwelt among humanity. Some received him and believed in his name, becoming children of God through faith rather than physical descent. The law was given through Moses but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ, who revealed the fullness of God.
This document provides an overview of John 20:19-23, which describes Jesus appearing to his disciples after his resurrection and commissioning them. The key points are:
1. Jesus appears to the disciples and shows them his wounds, proving he has been resurrected. He commissions them to continue his work and forgives their sins.
2. Jesus then breathes on the disciples and says "Receive the Holy Spirit," giving them power to forgive sins just as he does.
3. The passage establishes that Jesus is sending the disciples out as he was sent, and that through the church, believers have the authority and responsibility to forgive sins as part of their commission to spread the gospel.
Jesus appeared to his disciples over 40 days after his resurrection and commanded them to remain in Jerusalem to receive power from the Holy Spirit. Jesus told them they would receive power and become his witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. As they watched, Jesus was taken up into heaven. Two men told the disciples that Jesus would return in the same way they saw him leave.
The document provides a guide for Spiritual Emphasis Month activities at Family Christian Center in January 2024. It encourages daily challenges like prayer, Bible reading, fasting and inviting others to church. There is a Bible reading challenge to read the Gospel of John in the month. Members are asked to fast and pray on Fridays and participate in weekly discipleship and prayer meetings. The goal is to draw closer to God through spiritual disciplines and community during the month.
While shepherds watched their flocks at night, an angel appeared to them and announced the birth of Jesus. The angel was accompanied by a multitude of other angels praising God. The shepherds went to Bethlehem and found Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus lying in a manger just as the angel had said. Upon seeing the baby, the shepherds spread the word of his birth to all they met.
The document describes the incarnation of Jesus Christ through the story of Joseph and Mary in the Gospel of Matthew. It then summarizes the key points about Joseph as a just man who obeyed God, and Mary as the chosen mother who said yes to God's call. Finally, it analyzes the passage in Colossians 1:15-20 which describes Jesus as the image of God, the creator and sustainer of all things, the head of the Church, and the fullness of God dwelling in him to reconcile all things.
The document discusses walking in maturity according to Galatians 5-6. It provides guidance on how to address wrongs committed by others with gentleness, the importance of self-examination to avoid temptation, bearing one another's burdens while also being responsible for our own actions. It emphasizes doing good works, especially to fellow Christians, and warns that what we sow through our actions is what we will reap, either corruption or eternal life.
The document discusses walking by the Spirit according to Galatians 5:16-26. It describes how the desires of the flesh are opposed to the Spirit, listing works of the flesh like sexual immorality and idolatry. It emphasizes that practicing such things will prevent inheriting God's kingdom. However, the fruit of the Spirit includes love, joy and self-control. It encourages living by the Spirit through crucifying fleshly desires and keeping in step with the Spirit.
1. Paul warns the Galatians that accepting circumcision means rejecting Christ and falling from grace, as it submits them to keeping the whole law.
2. He emphasizes that neither circumcision nor uncircumcision matter, but only faith working through love. Those trying to persuade the Galatians away from faith are hindering them.
3. Paul uses several metaphors - running a race, leaven in dough, courtroom trial - to urge the Galatians to remain steadfast in their faith and not be misled, and to preserve unity among themselves through love rather than "biting and devouring" one another.
The document discusses two covenants that are represented by Abraham's two wives - Hagar and Sarah. Hagar represents the covenant under the law given at Mount Sinai that leads to slavery. Sarah represents the covenant of promise that leads to freedom through Christ. The author argues that just as Isaac was born of the free woman Sarah, Christians are children of the promise born of Sarah, not of slavery under the law. Believers are called to stand firm in their freedom in Christ and not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
1. The passage discusses Paul's concern that the Galatians are returning to observance of the Law and Jewish customs instead of relying on their faith in Christ.
2. Paul argues that through faith in Christ, believers are no longer under guardians and managers like the Law, but are sons of God.
3. He pleads with the Galatians not to turn back to following weak and worthless principles of the world, and instead to fully embrace their identity in Christ.
1. The document discusses Paul's letter to the Galatians explaining that God's promise to Abraham through Jesus Christ cannot be added to or altered, just as a legal covenant cannot be changed once ratified.
2. It notes that the promise was specifically made to Abraham's offspring, which is Christ, and the Mosaic law that came later was meant as a temporary guardian or guide until Christ.
3. With the coming of faith in Christ, believers are no longer bound to the law but are all sons of God, having been baptized into Christ and being heirs according to God's promise to Abraham.
The document discusses Paul's letter to the Galatians chapters 3:10-14. It summarizes that the law places all people under a curse for not keeping all its commands perfectly. However, no one is justified by the law but only through faith, as demonstrated by Abraham's righteousness coming from faith, not works. Christ redeems people from the law's curse by becoming cursed on the cross, so that Gentiles can receive the Spirit's blessing originally promised to Abraham, through faith rather than the law.
Paul rebukes the Galatians for abandoning faith in Christ in favor of following the Law, calling them "foolish" and asking who had "bewitched" them. He reminds them that they received the Holy Spirit through faith in Christ, not works, and cites Abraham's faith being "reckoned as righteousness" to demonstrate that true sons of Abraham are those of faith, not works. Paul concludes that all who have faith, both Jews and Gentiles, are blessed along with Abraham.
Paul confronted Peter for separating himself from Gentile believers out of fear of criticism. Paul argued that justification comes through faith in Christ, not works of the law. Paul explained that through dying with Christ to the law, believers can now live for God identified with Christ living in them through faith. Justification is not by works of the law, otherwise Christ's death would be unnecessary.
Paul wrote to the churches in Galatia to warn them against following those who preached a false gospel of works-righteousness through obeying the Jewish Law in addition to faith in Christ. Paul established that he received the true gospel of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus alone directly by revelation from God, not from any human source. He confronted Peter for withdrawing from table fellowship with Gentile believers out of fear of critics from Jerusalem, reminding him that justification comes solely through faith in Christ, not works of the Law.
Lucid Dreaming: Understanding the Risks and Benefits
The ability to control one's dreams or for the dreamer to be aware that he or she is dreaming. This process, called lucid dreaming, has some potential risks as well as many fascinating benefits. However, many people are hesitant to try it initially for fear of the potential dangers. This article aims to clarify these concerns by exploring both the risks and benefits of lucid dreaming.
The Benefits of Lucid Dreaming
Lucid dreaming allows a person to take control of their dream world, helping them overcome their fears and eliminate nightmares. This technique is particularly useful for mental health. By taking control of their dreams, individuals can face challenging scenarios in a controlled environment, which can help reduce anxiety and increase self-confidence.
Addressing Common Concerns
Physical Harm in Dreams Lucid dreaming is fundamentally safe. In a lucid dream, everything is a creation of your mind. Therefore, nothing in the dream can physically harm you. Despite the vividness and realness of the dream experience, it remains entirely within your mental landscape, posing no physical danger.
Mental Health Risks Concerns about developing PTSD or other mental illnesses from lucid dreaming are unfounded. As soon as you wake up, it's clear that the events experienced in the dream were not real. On the contrary, lucid dreaming is often seen as a therapeutic tool for conditions like PTSD, as it allows individuals to reframe and manage their thoughts.
Potential Risks of Lucid Dreaming
While generally safe, lucid dreaming does come with a few risks as well:
Mixing Dream Memories with Reality Long-term lucid dreamers might occasionally confuse dream memories with real ones, creating false memories. This issue is rare and preventable by maintaining a dream journal and avoiding lucid dreaming about real-life people or places too frequently.
Escapism Using lucid dreaming to escape reality can be problematic if it interferes with your daily life. While it is sometimes beneficial to escape and relieve the stress of reality, relying on lucid dreaming for happiness can hinder personal growth and productivity.
Feeling Tired After Lucid Dreaming Some people report feeling tired after lucid dreaming. This tiredness is not due to the dreams themselves but often results from not getting enough sleep or using techniques that disrupt sleep patterns. Taking breaks and ensuring adequate sleep can prevent this.
Mental Exhaustion Lucid dreaming can be mentally taxing if practiced excessively without breaks. It’s important to balance lucid dreaming with regular sleep to avoid mental fatigue.
Lucid dreaming is safe and beneficial if done with caution. It has many benefits, such as overcoming fear and improving mental health, and minimal risks. There are many resources and tutorials available for those interested in trying it.
The Revelation Chapter 7 Working Copy.docxFred Gosnell
John witnesses the sealing of God's 144,000 witnesses, and he hears the crying out or shouting of an unnumbered multitude of those who have been saved during the great tribulation.
This is an intermission scene before opening the seventh seal. We have seen six seals opened revealing of the events that would shortly occur. The first 4 reveal what was to occur in the great tribulation during the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans in AD70.
The fifth seal reveals the question from those slain as to when the Lord would avenge their death. The sixth seal reveals the answer to them from the One on the throne and of the Lamb which would be the punishment of their persecutors and accomplices. John sees four messengers/angels holding back the four winds of the earth & keeping them from blowing on the earth, the sea or any tree. In this figurative language, these are not heavenly messengers/angels. These represent those who are trying to restrain the word of God everywhere. Their efforts are restrained by the messenger in verse 2, preventing them from holding back the 4 winds, the spread of the gospel of Christ by His messengers/angels. These 4 winds stand on the four corners of the earth, Rome’s worldwide influence to stop its spread. But the gospel will be preached in all the earth. See the study for the Bible passages that support this. John hears the commands given relating to the sealing of the servants of God and the figurative number representing them. John sees a great multitude standing before the throne of all nations and kindreds and people and tongues who are clothed with white robes. All the messengers/angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four beasts fell before the throne and worshipped God. One of the elders asks John what those were that were wearing white robes. John said he knew and the elder identifies them. The chapter ends with his explanation.

taittreya upanishad - tradition of yoga and Upanishads, this concept of panch...Karuna Yoga Vidya Peetham
In his search towards reality or the unchanging fundamental unit of this universe, a scientist started with the external gross world of solid matter which is simple and easy to see, divide, and do experiments with.
This search led him through steps of understanding of this entire world of matter starting from elements, molecules, atoms, protons, neutrons and electrons;
He further understood that it is all packets of energy.
The atoms conglomerate together to form various chemicals; our body is therefore a permutation and combination of various chemicals. (Packets of energy in various configurations) When they join together they form molecules, cells, tissues organs, etc.
These follow certain well defined laws of nature and are controlled by nervous (electrical) and chemical (hormones) mechanisms to bring about movement and action in each and every cell.
Thus annamaya kosha is the physical frame which the grossest of the five Koshas.
3. Daniel 9:1–2
1 In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus,
of Median descent, who was made king over the
kingdom of the Chaldeans— 2 in the first year of
his reign, I, Daniel, observed in the books the
number of the years which was revealed as the
word of the LORD to Jeremiah the prophet for the
completion of the desolations of Jerusalem,
namely, seventy years.
4. Prophecy
Jeremiah 25:11…This whole land will be a
desolation and a horror, and these nations will
serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
Jeremiah 29:10…For thus says the LORD, ‘When
seventy years have been completed for Babylon, I
will visit you and fulfill My good word to you, to
bring you back to this place.

God’s will?
Daniel 9:3…So I
gave my attention
to the Lord God to
seek Him by prayer
and supplications,
with fasting,
sackcloth and

6. Sin
4 I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed and
said, “Alas, O Lord, the great and awesome God,
who keeps His covenant and lovingkindness for
those who love Him and keep His
commandments, 5 we have sinned, committed
iniquity, acted wickedly and rebelled, even
turning aside from Your commandments and
ordinances. 6 “Moreover, we have not listened

name to our kings, our princes, our fathers and all
the people of the land. 7 “Righteousness belongs
to You, O Lord, but to us open shame, as it is this
day—to the men of Judah, the inhabitants of
Jerusalem and all Israel, those who are nearby
and those who are far away in all the countries to
which You have driven them, because of their
unfaithful deeds which they have committed
against You. 8 “Open shame belongs to us,
8. O Lord, to our kings, our princes and our fathers,
because we have sinned against You. 9 “To the
Lord our God belong compassion and forgiveness,
for we have rebelled against Him; 10 nor have we
obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in
His teachings which He set before us through His
servants the prophets. 11 “Indeed all Israel has
transgressed Your law and turned aside, not
obeying Your voice; so the curse has been poured
out on us, along with the oath which is written

have sinned against Him.

Daniel 9:13…As it is written in the law of Moses,
all this calamity has come on us; yet we have
not sought the favor of the LORD our God by
turning from our iniquity and giving attention to
Your truth.
14. Disobedience has consequences
Daniel 9:14…Therefore the
LORD has kept the calamity in
store and brought it on us; for
the LORD our God is righteous
with respect to all His deeds
which He has done, but we
have not obeyed His voice.
15. Confession
Daniel 9:15–16…And now, O Lord our God…we
have sinned, we have been wicked. O Lord, in
accordance with all Your righteous acts, let now
Your anger and Your wrath turn away from Your
city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain; for because
of our sins and the iniquities of our fathers,
Jerusalem and Your people have become a
reproach to all those around us.
16. Give favor
Daniel 9:17…So now, our
God, listen to the prayer
of Your servant and to his

Your sake, O Lord, let Your

1 Timothy 2:1–2…First of all,
then, I urge that entreaties
and prayers, petitions and
thanksgivings, be made on
behalf of all men, for kings
and all who are in authority,
so that we may lead a tranquil
and quiet life in all godliness
and dignity.
18. Invoke God’s nature
Daniel 9:18…O my God, incline Your ear and hear!
Open Your eyes and see our desolations and the
city which is called by Your name; for we are not
presenting our supplications before You on
account of any merits of our own, but on account
of Your great compassion.
19. Plead
Daniel 9:19…O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord,
listen and take action! For Your own sake, O my
God, do not delay, because Your city and Your
people are called by Your name.
When was the last time you pleaded with God?
20. Effort Leads to Action
Daniel 9:20–21…Now while I was speaking and
praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my
people Israel, and presenting my supplication
before the LORD my God in behalf of the holy
mountain of my God, while I was still speaking in
prayer, then the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in
the vision previously, came to me in my extreme
weariness about the time of the evening offering.

to anoint the most holy place.

mourning for three entire weeks. I did not eat any
tasty food, nor did meat or wine enter my mouth,
nor did I use any ointment at all until the entire
three weeks were completed.
27. An Angel Appears
Daniel 10:12…Then he said to me, “Do not be
