It is also necessary before we begin trying our own hands at visual composition. ● This is analysis: taking apart the whole to examine the pieces that construct it. But what good is that if we don’t really have a REASON for doing so? ○ In this case, in this assignment, our PURPOSE is to better understand the WHY: why does this visual AFFECT us so?
