Let’s Review What We Already Know   A prefix is a small word part that is  added to the beginning of a base word, to change it’s meaning.  The prefix “pre-” means before or prior to. pretest= a test you take  before  learning preheat= heating something up  before  you use it (an oven) Let’s try another word…what could prewash mean?
