ACADEMIC/FUNDED PROJECTS
1. Characterization of Non-circular Twin jets: The study is basically concentrates on the enhancement
of the flow turbulence which helps to improve the mixing characteristics and the diversified behavior of
jet with varying exit cross-sections of nozzles.
2. Analysis of flow behavior at the exit of the non-circular convergent nozzle(slant-cut nozzle) with
and with-out co-flow: The study mainly concentrates in understanding of flow behavior of jet and also
its jet mixing characteristics and it also focused on quantitative analysis regarding the thrust vectoring.

3. Flow analysis over a multi-element (2-element) airfoil: In this project an inspection had been carried
regarding the flow behavior around the airfoil at different angle of attacks with respect to deflection in
flap deflection and observed the change in performance parameters
4. NACA-2412 aerofoil: A scaled model of NACA2412 aerofoil had been fabricated by generating co-
ordinates using joukowski transformations to have a basic idea regarding the designing of aerodynamic
models and to understand their performances.
5. Space shuttle Atlantis: Accomplished a project regarding Space shuttle Atlantis by studying different
sections in it and fabricated a scaled model.

2. INTERNSHIP/ INDUSTRIAL VISITS
 Completed internship in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in Engine division for a period of 3 weeks
and observed the overhauling of engine and working of every part and their material properties and
different testing done in the engine.
 Visited G.S.Alloys as a part of industrial visit on the practical observation of casting, moulding and
forging process which is a main part in Manufacturing technology.
 Visited to Narla Tatarao Thermal Power Station for observed the working of boilers for a better
understanding Thermal engineering.
 Visited Gannavaram Airport and observed different sections in the airport and had a basic idea in each
section and also observed the different components of aircraft.
