RESEARCH PROJECTS________________________________________________________
Effect of Sodium Hydroxide on Mechanical Properties of Kenaf Reinforced Composites USU, Logan
Guide: Dr. Thomas H.Fronk May 2014- Aug 2015
 Developed a low cost composite panel using short Kenaf/bast fibers by soaking the fibers in varying concentrations of
sodium hydroxide solution. Tensile test was performed to determine the modulus and strength of composite panels.
 Developed an indigenous method for strain and load data recording using LabVIEW.
 Developed a MATLAB code to determine the volume of fibers required for a required volume of composite panel using
only dimensions and density data.
Multi Rotor Aerial Reconnaissance Vehicle VTU/National Aerospace Lab, India
Guide: Dr. Naga Prasad K.S/ Mr. Roshan Anthony Aug 2012- May 2013
 Designed a multi rotor helicopter in association with National Aerospace laboratories for reconnaissance activites.
 Developed a new rotor configuration for increased stability and maneuverability. Rotor efficiency was studied for
calculating the aerial time based on aircraft weight and future additions.
 Data was recorded from high altitude using skyview software for reconnaissance and stealth.
PROGRAMMING SKILLS______________________________________________________
- Applications and Tools
- Certified SolidWorks Associate – C-KUFLFKLBUP
- CATIA Certificate, AutoCAD 2D, ProE
- Mathematica, MATLAB, Fortran
- Windows, Word, Power Point, Excel, FloTHERM
RELEVANT COURSE WORK___________________________________________________
- Composite Materials Mechanical Vibrations
- Finite Element Analysis II Machine Design I and II
- Design of Experiments Mechanical Engineering Experiments
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS______________________________________________
- Consistently performed duties in efficient and timely manner, completing projects within deadlines. Result oriented with the
ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Worked in multi cultural environment maintaining positive co-worker relationship.
- Strong management/ prioritization abilities and can perform well under pressure, in a fast paced environment.
