disability. There are athletes who have mindsets that would put most to shame.

athletes have to be seeking the intenseness, fierceness, and competitiveness that
they had previously experienced before their setback (if we can call this a setback).

them the ability to continue seeking the same type of adrenaline and dopamine rushes

towards the Forms/world of intellect. Within Plato s Republic there are three
analogies: the sun, line, and cave, which are intended to clarify how things
experienced in the sensible world are less real than the Forms. All three analogies
are consistent through their descriptions of the differences between the intelligible
and sensible worlds. The usage of all three also enables Plato to guide readers
through the knowledge process, starting with a simple description of the sun and
ending with a full example of how man can reach that sun. Plato starts with the

However, he is silent enough to be a gentleman. He is depicted as an extremely
quiet and antisocial person, but is often shown to be kind and caring. Antonio has
a father affection towards Bassanio. Evidence from the play suggests that Antonio
may have been depressed since he found out that his very close friend fell in love
with a woman; and Antonio may not have time to spend with his friend anymore.
Another reason for his depression could be because he was worried about
Bassanio since he was going to borrow money from Shylock and worried about
Shylock s answer to his dear friend. However, at the beginning of the book, Salerio
and Solanio suggest Antonio a reason for his depression could be that he was in
love. He is scared to ask Shylock for money since Antonio abuses Shylock in public
and harasses him, calls him a dog, and spits on his face. However, Shylock agrees
to give Bassanio 3000 ducats, but if he doesn t return the money within three
months; Antonio owes Shylock a pound of his flesh. In my opinion, Antonio is too
proud and over confident as a character. He signed the bond between him and
Shylock because he knows his ships will carry back three times the amount of the
loan that Bassanio borrowed from Shylock, and therefore, Antonio didn t even break

otherwise known as Montastraea cavernosa is a colonial stony coral. It sometimes
forms into plates and rounded domes in deep water. It forms into big boulders in
shallow water. The star coral is usually green, brown, yellow, or gray. This coral
has phycoerythrin which makes it fluorescent orange or red in the daytime. The
great star coral is in the Anthozoa class and the Montastraeidae family. Montastraea
cavernosa habitat is all reefs, specifically on lower slopes. Most are found at depths
of 10 to 30 meters which is where they dominate in. This coral can be found in the
eastern and western Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico, Bahamas, and
Bermuda. They can also be found in the west coast of Africa. They have a high...
Since Astraea s only opening is the oral side their food and waste is sent through
the same opening. The digestion that happens in the gastrovascular cavity is
outside of the cells, extracellular, and the digestion in the gastrodermis happens
within the cells, intracellular. If something can t be digested it travels out of the
body through the mouth. The recent research of the Astraea deals with different
coral diseases. One of the most popular is the black band disease which infects
large reef formation corals. This disease changes the whole reef geologically and
ecologically. There have been new discoveries on the bacteria responsible for the
black band disease. The water around the coral that has been infected has corallinae
in it which makes it seem it is related to the cause of the disease. There is still more
research needed to confirm the relation of the corallinae and the black band disease.

Analysis Of Rachel Carson s Silent Spring
As humans, we have done extensive damage to the non human world around us,
and each and every one of us is as qualified as the next person to try and remedy the
issues we ve created. Because of our mental capacity, it is our moral obligation to
take charge of these issues, as we are the voice for all other biota on this planet that
we share. Through a close reading of Rachel Carson s Silent Spring , we are able to
see that our moral obligation to the non humanenvironmentextends into every aspect
of our existence.
The changing environment is everyone s issue. No one academic discipline has
any more jurisdiction over the way we need to be approaching these problems.
Every person, and living thing for that matter, on this planet should be able to have
some say in how we should be addressing these issues. Carson makes the idea of
unity between different backgrounds clear through the use of many supplemental
anecdotes to get her point across, all of which work at different angles to try and
reach a broader audience. Carson introduces references to the sorceress Medea and
she created a robe to give the wearer to suffer violent death (32). Carson relates this
Greek myth to systematic insecticides, which forces the intended audience to view
the issues brought on by DDT, a harsh chemical, through a different perspective.
Carson is trying to reach a larger audience because of the broad nature of the issues
at hand. Everyone needs to be able to feel the urgency of the issues
