According to four charts from a 2011 Raddon Financial Group survey: 1) 54% of consumers reported spending the same amount compared to a year ago, while 38% reported spending less and 8% reported spending more. 2) 42% of consumers reported saving the same amount compared to a year ago, while 40% reported saving less and 18% reported saving more. 3) 59% of consumers expected the economy to be in better shape over the next six months, while 30% expected it to be in worse shape. 4) 69% of consumers saw no evidence that the recession was over, while only 5% definitely saw evidence that the economy was improving.
