What specifically interests you about
community awareness?
My major interest about community
awareness is, if something can be done to help
improve society, find a way to get involve and
encourage others to be a part of the act.”
When officers of the law has a
prediction of suspicion of civilians doing
or being involved in criminal activities,
and use race, age, gender, color, etc.., as
part as their procedure.
 Happening all the world.
Mainly in the United States.
Rhode Island is a victim of this as well.
 In Rhode Island, the City of Providence is mainly
targeted for racial Profiling.
Providence has the highest percentage for racial
profiling.
Officers assume that one race is defined as
criminals, so when one person of that type of
race is walking or driving by, they are
consider targets.
They stop them and use violence against them.
Interrogate them and make them scared to lie.
They just want types of races to look bad.
The victims are mostly located in the City of
Providence.
Civilians that express themselves a different
way; Ex. Baggy clothing, expensive
accessories, and slang language.
Most are young adults and adults of under
the age 35.
Focusingly on African-Americans, Hispanics,
Mid-eastern people.
They are brutally hurt by officers.
Sometimes turn out dead.
Sent to prison for false accusations.
Stays on their record.
Traumatized by the scene they witness.
Stay quiet for being afraid of getting hurt.
