Rabbit and Bear Once upon a time, there lived a bear and a rabbit as neighbors. The rabbit was a good shot with a bow and arrows, while the bear was clumsy. The bear asked the rabbit to go hunting with him, and though fearful, the rabbit agreed. The rabbit killed many buffalo, providing enough meat for the bear's family. However, the greedy bear did not allow the rabbit to have any of the meat, leaving the rabbit to go home hungry after his hard day's work. The youngest bear child, feeling kind towards the rabbit, secretly kicked pieces of meat from his large portions into the rabbit's house to feed him without the bear father knowing.
