2. Do you like Dubstep? The blue was Yes, the red was No & Green was Never Heard of It As you can see from the pie chart, most people liked with a majority of 70& of the vote, this gives me the information that there will be a demand for a Dubstep themed music magazine.
3. Your favourite font? There were three fonts to choose from in this question, the first was Impact Label then pulse sans virgin and finally trashco. Impact Label got the most votes so i decided to use it as my masthead font.
4. Who is your favourite artist? I listed 4 different Artists for this question and asked who was their favourite. I also included an ‘other’ answer tab in which the interviewee could state their favourite artist, all of the people who did this other tab mentioned ‘Chase & Status’. This leads me to think that people aren’t really into the underground Dubstep as Chase & Status are quite mainstream.
5. How much would you be prepared to pay for a good Dubstep Magazine? Blue was £1, Red was £2 & Green was £3. As you can see from the chart people were equally willing to pay £1 & £2 for a Dubstep magazine. This means if I was a real publisher i would charge £2 for the magazine, so for arguments sake I will advertise this magazine as £2
6. How often would you read it? Most people I surveyed would like to read my Dubstep magazine every month. This mean I will apply
7. What types of articles would you like in a music magazine? I gave people in this question the chance to tick more than one box, in this context meaning they could vote for more than one editorial column. The most popular was Artist Interviews then second was Music news. They will be included in my music magazine.
