14. Graph Analysis
From the questionnaire graphs we are able to identify who our opening
sequence is most likely to appeal to. The results show that we are more
likely to appeal to a female audience. Furthermore, our opening sequence
will appeal to a younger audience between the age range of 16-24 year
olds, who are most likely earning between £0-£9,000 as there annual income
and are likely to be students from a college or university. Results show that
82% of the people carried out our questionnaire said they enjoy watching
horror films whilst the other 18% didn’t. The most common horror subgenre that was most enjoyed was thriller, followed by a comedy. In
addition, the preferred villains such as murderers most interesting, followed
closely along side demons. Too add, we saw that not many people watch
that many horror films per month. Only twenty people watched 0-3 films
whilst ten people watched 4-6 and five people watched 7-0. These films
were mainly watched at the cinemas or on the internet, with the chosen age
certificate suggested by the audience, a horror film should be certificated 12.
