The document describes the various media technologies used by Liam Lewis King during the construction, research, planning and evaluation stages of a media project. During research and planning, Liam used Slideshare to upload research materials, iMovie to edit research videos, and Prezi to create flowing presentations. YouTube and Blogger were used to publish and link videos. During construction, Sony Vegas Pro and Final Cut Pro were used for video editing, a Panasonic camera for footage, GarageBand for audio editing, and Photoshop for print ads. Evaluation involved answering questions about forms/conventions, product effectiveness, audience feedback, and use of technologies.

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
Ā
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an āinfrastructure container kubernetes guyā, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefitās both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

1. Evaluation Question
How did you use media technologies in the
construction, research, planning and
evaluation stages?
By Liam Lewis King
2. Research
&
Planning
Slideshare
I used this in my blog post
research tasks like āSuper
Size me Presentationā or
āThe History of
Documentaryā this was an
easy way too upload
research with of a lot of
information and no
animation.
Imovie
I used imovie to make my research
videos such as the āCodes and
conventions of print and radio
adverts.ā in this video I used a black
and white filter whilst using old-
timey music to give off a classic
feel. Another experimental video I
edited with imovie was my āshorts
on the different types of
documentaries where one of my
shorts was a stop motion sequence.
Prezi
In my Prezi documents like āCodes
and Conventions of documentary
filmsā I used a flowing motion to
show the progression of the
document.
YouTube
I used YouTube for publishing my
video before using a link to attach
it to my blogger page.
Blogger
This was the site I used to publish
all my work on. I had no problems
with and because it is google
owned it was easy to link my
YouTube videos to it.
3. Construction
Sony Vegas 13 Pro
I use Sony Vegas
Pro to fine tune my
documentary and
edited the into
scene.
Final Cut Pro
I used final cut pro
initially to edit this
project. After a
while I deemed it to
finicky as I could
only edit on the
Macs in school. This
slowed down the
editing process
immensely and
swapped over near
complete project to
Sony Vegas Pro 13.
Panasonic HDC-SD60
This is the camera I did all
my raw footage with, it is
small but the resolution is
still a clear 1080p HD
making it perfect for
filming off school
grounds.
Garage Band
With this software I constructed my
Voice of god narration, removing all my
mistakes or parts I did not like. I would
then transfer the MP3 file onto Final Cut
Pro or Sony Vegas 13 Pro to implement
into my documentary.
Apple Mac
This was what I originally
used for editing along
with Final Cut Pro, I also
used this for converting
my Garageband files into
MP3.
NT1-A Rode condenser
microphone
I used this microphone to
record my voice clearly
allowing my voice of god
narration to sound
professional.
Adobe Photoshop
I used Photoshop to
create my print
advert, this was an
easy task as
Photoshop is easy to
get the
hand of.
4. Evaluation
Evaluation Question 1 - In what ways does media product use,
develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media?
Evaluation Question 2 - How effective is the
combination of your main product and
ancillary text?
Evaluation Question 3 - What have you learned
from audience feedback?
Evaluation Question 4 - How
did you use media
technologies in the
construction and research,
planning and evaluation
stages?
