Word was the main format used by the author to present ideas, plans, research, and work for an evaluation project. Word allowed the author to easily include images and neatly present work. As someone familiar with Word, the author was confident in using it to effectively present work. The author also used Google Chrome to research science fiction, thriller, and fantasy films during pre-production and production, allowing them to find information on target audiences and genre conventions. The familiarity with Google Chrome made research easier. Equipment used for production and post-production included a Canon DSLR camera, tripod, microphone, memory card, computer, and Adobe software like Premiere Pro and After Effects.

4. Word was the main format I used to present my ideas and
planning for each question for my evaluation as well as parts of
my Pre-Production such as Target audience, Props, Costume
and Actors. I also used it for my research into Sci-Fi films; I
would easily present my work neatly – I added images to add to
the presentation. I have used Word for a long time and I’m very
confident when using it, which made it a lot easier to present my
work effectively.

5. To aid my research into Sci-Fi, Thriller and Fantasy films during Pre-
Production and Production I used search engines such as google
chrome. This allowed me to find out information about my target
audience as well as typical genre conventions for my film, the history
of the Sci-Fi genre etc. in Pre-production. I have used google
chrome may times before and was confident when using it, making it
a lot easier for me to do my research.
