The target audience for the media product is 16 to 30 year old females based on questionnaires completed by a variety of people. Most respondents were between 16 and 18 years old and female. The goal is to expand the target audience by including articles that appeal to a wider age range. An online tool called YouGov was used to get information on the interests, hobbies, favorite foods and entertainment of students to help identify content that could engage more of the target demographic and increase readership.
