We made audience mood boards out of
images to help up create the target
audience for our show, these are all
similar products related to out parody
and they are also all things people who
would like our trailer would like.
This was some of the feedback from our parody          We asked the same people to watch our trailer and give us
rough cut                                              some feedback and these are some of the quotes from the
                                                       final trailer.
The Sound needs editing

We took this feedback and edited the music on
'Garage Band' so that it would fit in with our
trailer and also ducked the sound so you can hear
the actors speaking, it also fades out at the
end.

                                                       intended audience. After gaining feedback we went back

We added que cards at the end to establish what
TV programme we were showing it on and
what time, date etc. We also re-arranged the
scenes to flow better.
The audience feedback helped us to make our trailer a lot more professional and
also after creating our audience profile we knew what sort of people we should be
asking for feedback. After receiving some constructive criticism we worked on it
and changed what we had to, to make the trailer more appealing to the target
audience.

I learnt that audience feedback is important to create any product that is advertised toward a certain audience.


Without asking for audience feedback from our target audience we wouldn’t have been able to tailor our trailer to
them.


We had analysed the trailer ourselves and changed what we could that seemed wrong or out of place but after
asking for feedback it really opened our eyes to what we had to change to make the trailer more believable as a
genuine soap.

We had to choose a popular song that everybody would know so that it gave the audience some familiarity to the
show and it was something totally new or alien to them.


We made 3 different drafts of the trailer before we felt it was finally finished.


We even got comments from other people on YouTube.
