Victoria became Queen of England at age 18 after her uncles failed to have children, and went on to have the longest reign of any British monarch. She married her cousin Prince Albert in 1840 and had 9 children together, though she fell into a deep depression after Albert's death in 1861 at age 42. Queen Victoria ruled for over 63 years until her death in 1901 at age 81.
