THE Stylemate, Issue 01|2021: a time between times THE Stylemate
In our last issue, we used this page to write about our hopes and dreams for the future. We were somewhat hopeful that the next time we came to write this passage, we would be a bit closer to reaching them than where we find ourselves now. But where are we, actually?
The trends of Salone Del Mobile Milan 2016 MILDBERRY
Each spring, designers from all over the world head to Milan in order to visit the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the most important annual furniture fair in the world. Lots of cities hold their own design weeks, however, the Salone is the first event, which grew into a large-scale arts and culture festival, becoming an incubator for ideas, a venue for inspiration and a good show case of design accomplishments.
Vasily Kassab, Executive Creative director at Mildberry, who used to study and work in Milan, has been attending the annual fair since 2010. He was always keeping an eye on it and the latest design tendencies. After every trip he shares his impressions on the remarkable trends spotted around the fair. Usually, these trends get weaved into the projects we do for our clients. In this presentation you may find the latest observations of the Salone del Mobile 2016.
Complete collections of our light diffusers & lampshades materials for the 2017. Thousands of colour combinations, finishes and transparencies, with virtually endless possibilities. This catalogue is a powerful tool, use it to inspire creativity and provide outstanding lightning in projects.
THE Stylemate - nobody believed it - issue 02 | 2020THE Stylemate
When it felt like the world was changing
constantly from one minute to the next, and
it seemed that any long-term plans would
have to be thrown out the window, we joined
the journey into the unknown and decided
to make this issue of THE Stylemate more
spontaneous and experimental. You’ll see
that there isn’t a person looking up at you
from the front cover as usual – instead, we
commissioned emerging artist Alessandro
Painsi to think about creating something
different for it. Bar a couple of general
pointers like “maybe something with text”
and “it should be about people”, he was
otherwise given free rein. You can see
the result of this creative freedom now if
you turn back a page. It says, very simply,
“nobody believed it – faith”. This inspired
us to reply “but we did do”, as you can see
written boldly on this page. It is important
for us to add at this stage: we believe that
everything will be OK, because we believe in
people and have faith in what they do, and
that’s what this issue of THE Stylemate is
all about. We discuss human nature and
talk about people and what they do, what
they dream about, what inspires them and
what drives them. They are people that
inspire faith, both in themselves and in
others. We’ve also experimented with the
cover story, in which we present work by
photographer Mathilde Karrèr, whose image
titles resonate with the theme of the article.
But there’s no need to say any more here.
Keep turning the page and have faith that
you’ll find some wonderful stories to read.

LEVERAGE BUYOUT: THE POSITIVE EFFECT ON OPERATIVE PERFORMANCES OF TARGET COMP...Eugenio Pugliese
The dissertation is aimed to analyze, evaluate and describe the
effects that Leverage buyout operations create on the target
companies’ performances. Thus this paper will include two parts,
the fist one focused on the theoretical aspects and the second one
focused on an empirical analysis on LBO operations sample realized
in Italy from 2005 to 2008. Utilizing descriptive statistic tools, we
formulated and tested five hypotheses that underlined how the
target company presented in the post-buyout period, positive
change in the corporate growth level; profitability’s improvements;
increases in the investing activities; increase of financial leverage
and increases of the employment growth level.
Moreover it has been built a regression function aimed to find the
existing relationship among the different variables, already used for
the five hypotheses test, and their capability to generate value and
improvements in the operative performances.
