The role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining all IS policies, processes, and standards, as well as conducting compliance audits and identifying areas for improvement. Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager to take responsibility of all policies, processes and
standards. Working initially in a standalone role, you will be working on overall project delivery,
service management and processes across Business Systems, Computer Services,
Telecommunications & Infrastructure and local IS.

Principle Accountabilities of the Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager
 Establish and operate the assurance and maintenance of the policies, processes and
standards to which EIS operates
 Operate the compliance and audit processes, ensuring that the management of EIS is fully
aware and compliant
 Define, maintain and report on the core metrics for EIS, including projects, programmes,
service management and financials.
 Identify areas of continual improvement for EIS departments and drive these continual
improvement plans
 Build and maintain strong relationships with the IS organisation, both globally and in EMEA
Requirements for the position of Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager
Essential
 Proven experience in project management, service management (e.g. ITIL) and audit /
compliance processes and standards (e.g. Sarbanes Oxley, ISO, GxP)
 Previous supervisory or management experience within an IT environment
 Degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science or similar discipline
 Experience of evaluating areas for change and implementing improvements for IS Processes
Desirable
 A recognised Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2
 Experience at working at a global level

2. Whilst initially this role will not have any direct reports, there is scope within the IS department to
build a QA & Compliance team in the future.
