Activity 1
‘Pointless’ activity
• You have five minutes to fill in as many skills as possible
on your mind map…

everyone else will have – be as specific as possible.
Working in a group of 3 or 4, score your mind
maps:
• 1 point for every skill you have written down
that no one else in your group has written
down.
• If you finish before we move on, try and add
some more skills to your mind-map.
‘Pointless’ activity
On the back of your mind map

digital technology for media production work,

Timeline of all media productions
1. Draw a line across the full length of your paper to
represent your time at college (use a whole page).
2. Add all of the productions you have worked on in
college in chronological order.

Editor's Notes

  • #5 Follow this up with feedback from each group on something that most people wrote down and something that only one person wrote down. As groups are feeding back, others should write down any skills they hear that are relevant to them.
