• A Paper battery is flexible,ultrathin energy
storage and production device formed by
combining carbon nanotube with
conventionalsheet of celulose based paper

4. ➢A Paper battery acts as both a high energy
capacitor combining two components that are
separate in traditional electronics
➢Exhibits property of super capacitor

5. DISADVANTAGES OF LITHIUM ION
• EXPENSIVE:40% more than NiCd
• DELICATE:Battery temperature must be
monitored from within (which raises the price)
and sealed particullarly well
• REGULATIONS:When shipping of lithium ion
batteries in bulk

conductors

• CNT thin filims were coated on to stainless steel
substrates with a solution based process
• The concentration of CNT IS 1.7mg/ml
• A dried film with a thickness of 2 micrometer
was formed after drying the CNT ink on the ss
substrate at 80 celsius
• These films act as electrodes of paper battery

• While a conventional battery contains a number
of separate components ,the battery integrates
all of the battery components in a single
structure ,making more energy efficent
• Traditional batteries produce electrons through
a chemical reaction electroyte and metal
• Paper battery produces electrons due to the
interaction of electroyte LTO &LCO
