Dow Corning ® M Gear Oil Additive
saves company $56,700 per year
A pulp and paper mill producing 600 tons of paper a day
reported that by using Dow Corning ® M Gear Oil Additive
in their paper machine gear reducers, they were able to
reduce power consumption by about 15 percent, which
translated to an annual cost savings of $56,700.
When added to premium-grade mineral oil, M Gear Oil
Additive reduces metal-to-metal friction, which not only
reduces energy consumption, but also prolongs gear life.
