Cold grip handling gloves are used for damp, oily, wet or greasy conditions.
They also give protection against thermal hazards and extreme
temperatures.
Cryogen gloves also come under cold handling gloves for applications
involving extreme temperatures such as handling liquid nitrogen,
autoclaves, freezers and cryogenic atmospheres as well as glove liners and
gloves manufactured from unusual materials offering protection against
more unusual chemicals. These gloves conform to EN 388.
Cryogenic gloves have been developed to give contact protection down to
-125°C against freezer burn and frostbite. When retrieving or placing
products in liquid nitrogen atmospheres, we recommend waterproof
cryogenic gloves as these are less porous to the cold gas.
