• Initially provide only ship services to clients such as Maersk &
Evergreen
• Including ship repair such repairing hatch covers, cell-guides, etc..
• In 2012, Diving & ROV Division was set up to provide inshore
underwater services such as hull cleaning, propeller polishing and
inspection.
• By second half of 2013, the Diving & ROV Division had progressed
to provide offshore underwater services to clients such as MISC
Berhad and FPSO Ventures Sdn Bhd.
• In 2014 alone, the Diving & ROV Division had executed 7 offshore
projects for clients such as Petronas, FPSO Ventures, MISC and
EPOMS with revenue exceeding RM20 million.
• 2014 also saw the forming of the NDT, Engineering and Rope Access
Divisions to strategically structure Nadi Marine Sdn Bhd to
become a one-stop service provider.
• Memorandums of understanding (MOUs) signed with local entities in
Thailand and Brunei in 2014.
• Formation of PT Nadi Marin in October 2014.

5. Presently, PT NADI MARIN SUBSEA has expanded to provide not only underwater services but also
topside Non- Destructive Testing (NDT) and Rope Access.
The Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) & Rope Access Division was established as part of the company
strategic development. It was initially offered in Malaysia by NADI MARINE SDN BHD in early 2014 as it
was found that these services were complimentary.
When the implementation was found to be successful, it was also adopted by PT NADI MARIN SUBSEA in
Indonesia in 2015.
The provision of the following additional services is in-line with the Group vision of becoming a one-stop
service provider in the Marine as well as Energy industries.

Ultrasonic thickness gauging (UTG) is a widely used
nondestructive test (NDT) technique for measuring the
thickness of a material from one side. It is fast, reliable, and
versatile, and unlike a micrometer or caliper it requires access
to only one side of the test piece.
Ultrasonic thickness gages work by very precisely measuring
how long it takes for a sound pulse that has been generated
by a small probe called an ultrasonic transducer to travel
through a test piece and reflect back from the inside surface
or far wall.
Accuracy in a given application can best be determined
through the use of reference standards of precisely known
thickness. In general, gages using delay line or immersion
transducers for Mode 3 measurements are able to determine
the thickness of a part most precisely.

Magnetic Particle testing consists of inducing a
magnetic field into a ferromagnetic material
(such as rolled, cast, or forged steel).The
application of magnetic particles and the
interpretation of the patterns formed by the
particles as they are attracted by magnetic
leakage fields (magnetic poles) created at a
break in material continuity, such a surface
crack.To ensure visibility, the magnetic particles
are coated either with a colored dye easily seen
in white light or a fluorescent dye visible under
black ultraviolet light.
