CLImate CHange in Agriculture
Erasmus+ Program
Erasmus + is the European Union's program for education, training,
youth and sport for the period 2014-2020. It offers many
opportunities for students, teachers, staff and higher education
institutions (HEIs) around the world.
CLImate CHange in Agriculture (CLICHA) is designed, under the
general aim of building capacity in the field of higher education, in
order to modernize, to improve accessibility and internationalization
of higher education in the Partner Country considering all necessary
skills for sustainable agriculture, respectful of the environment and
climate change resilience.
Based on good practices used by the project partners, the project will
contribute to improve educational programs and consequently skills
of graduates to cope with climate change, mainly mitigation,
resilience and adaptation.
New updated material in the field of “Climate Change, crop, water
and animal production”;
Development of the relevant courses;
Setting up of modern learning equipment (educational and
equipment related to the delivery of the courses);
Design of learning tools (e-learning platform, dynamic web site),
that will all contribute to the achievement of the project‘s wider
objective;
Process of accreditation framework for at least one educational
program for each Tunisian HEI.
The objectives of this project are the assessment of the educational
programs of the Tunisian HEIs in relation with CC; the creation of the
necessary cognitive materials; the improvement of the training
curricula; the partial putting on line of some modules and the
instruction of accreditation process within each Tunisian HEI; the
Enhancement of HEIs-enterprises cooperation.
The achievement of these objectives will be possible through the
exchange of expertise and good practices within consortium
partners.
