3. GLOSSARY OF TRADE
1. AGENT: (AGENTE) Person or thing that works and has the authority or
power to produce or cause any effect.
2. AGREEMENTS: (ACUERDOS) Maintained peaceful relations between
people or countries.
3. AIR: (AEREO) Air transport is the controlled movement through the air,
propelled by its own engines or vehicles ability to plan.
4. BANKS:(BANCOS) Company or organization that is dedicated to making
financial transactions with money deposited by their customers or
shareholders.
5. BARRIERS: (BARRERAS) Fence or any other fixed or movable barrier
that prevents the passage for a place.
6. CHEQUE: (CHEQUE) Document in which you can withdraw from the
bank a sum of money to the person who signs.
7. CONTAINER: (CONTENEDOR) Rectangular metal container large size
and freight over long distances.
8. COST: (COSTO) Amount of money that it costs something or make or
produce.
9. CUSTOMS: (ADUANAS) administration charge of placing charges
imposed on goods exported or imported.
10. DECREE: (DECRETO) Decision taken by the competent authority,
especially in politics.
11. ENTITIES: (ENTIDADES) Association or corporation, generally private.

responsible for paying transportation charges.
13. FREIGHT: (FLETE) Rental price of a vessel or a part of it.
14. FREIGHT: (CARGA) Thing transported, especially goods and
merchandise.
15. INSURANCE: (SEGURO) Which is free from danger or harm.
16. INTERNATIONAL: (INTERNACIONAL) Pertaining to two or more
nations.
17. MARITIME: (MARITIMO) Sea or on it by nature or by its proximity.
18. MINISTERS: (MINISTROS) Person who is part of a national government
responsible for the administration of a particular aspect of its political, social
or economic life.
19. OUTSIDE: (EXTERIOR) That is done abroad or with foreign countries.
20. POLICIES: (POLITICAS) Set of measures to govern a state.
21. PORT: (PUERTO) Location seashore or beside a river, prepared for that
vessels can shelter and stop for loading and unloading goods or embarking
and disembarking passengers.
22. PRODUCT: (PRODUCTO) Thing that is produced naturally or artificially.
23. TARIFF: (ARANCEL) Tax levied on goods entering a country.
24. TRADE: (COMERCIO) Set of merchants and business activities from one
country or area.
25. TRANSPORT: (TRANSPORTE) Action to carry or move a person or thing
from one place to another.
