This document proposes two prototypes to match job candidates' soft skills and academic qualifications to career opportunities: Prototype 1 is a high school program that would help students select an area of study and future career by matching their instinctive skills and academic performance. Testing with recent graduates found this approach would have been helpful for choosing a college major. Prototype 2 is an automated hiring matching system that would match college graduates' soft skills, academic background, and work experience to job requirements. Testing with hiring managers indicated this system could help simplify finding the right candidates. Both prototypes depend on partnering with an organization that provides assessments of individuals' soft skills and instincts. The document outlines initial tests of the concepts with positive feedback.
