This document proposes a career development program for students in STEM fields from grades 7 through 16. The program integrates work experiences like shadowing and internships with academic coursework to help students explore careers and build job-relevant skills. Students would begin with short shadowing experiences in grades 7-10 before taking on part-time internships from grades 11-16 alongside counseling and soft skills training. The goal is to help students make more informed choices about their education and career paths. Feedback from an internship coordinator suggested narrowing the focus to STEM and integrating academic standards and counseling supports.
