This document proposes an English Week event at UniKL MESTECH from October 10-12, 2016. It outlines the organization committee, objectives to improve English skills through fun activities, and schedule of grammar, speaking, reading and fun games. A budget of RM1135 is requested to cover prizes, promotions, stationery, refreshments and other materials. The goal is to help students learn English confidently through different approaches than the classroom.

PURPOSE
• This paper is submitted for consideration and approval of UniKL MESTECH to organize a UniKL
MESTECH English Week
JUSTIFICATION
• English can be learnt through various activities which can be fun and enjoyable as well as
transferring information and able to create a positive English speaking environment. MESTECH
English week is organized to offer students a chance to express and learn English in a very fun and
exciting activities that are slightly different from activities in the class. The activities held will not
only help in highlighting students’ creativity, but most importantly will help to improve students’
language proficiency and self-confidence.

3. OBJECTIVES
• To present interesting, relevant and suitable material matched to the level of English competency
of UniKL students.
• Students will be able to understand and describe the role of literature in development of cultures.
• To help students with development skills specific to collaboration efforts, allowing students to
establish a shared identity with other group members.
