● Mary California has been working since 1990.
● The artist has over 100 paintings on canvas, both stretched and unstretched, some of
which are still in their possession, although some have have been sold to collectors and
museums.
● The artist utilizes a high level of photographic documentation to complete her
paintings by constantly photographing of the process for each individual work.
● The artist has also acquired a collection of documents related to her past work
including exhibition ephemera, notebooks, letters, sale contracts, and curriculum vitae.
