"Rural Tourism Development for the Prefecture of Lassithi in Crete."
1.0 INTRODUCTION TO PROBLEM STATEMENT AND PURPOSE OF STUDY Over the last
two decades or so, the whole world has experienced rapid changes and socioeconomic
transformations. The socioeconomic changes affected and caused severe stress mainly to isolated,
peripheral and rural areas of the world. However, the changes in economic and social culture
structure of the world caused decreased farm revenues, changing in the farmland values and high
rates of unemployment, leading to mass exodus of the productive forces and lack of balance in the
demographics of rural areas (Gannon, 1993).

2.2 DEFINITION OF RURAL TOURISM
Even though it seems simple to define rural tourism as "tourism that takes place in the countryside"
this definition does not include the complexity of the activities and the different forms and meanings
developed in different countries, as well as the number of protagonists participating in rural tourism
(Lane, 1993).
According to (Lane, 1994) it is difficult to define rural tourism since there is not a systematic source
of data in rural tourism and neither World Tourism Organization (WTO) nor the Organization for
Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) have appropriate measures.
Nevertheless, Opperman (1996) suggested that the field of rural tourism still lacks a comprehensive
body of knowledge and theoretical framework. He argued that this is caused by a) Definitional
problems concerning what constitutes rural tourism b) Lack of data sources on small, rural
enterprises which makes rural tourism much less obvious and signifies much more tedious work for
researchers in their quest for data (Butler et al, 1998:224).
Although, the need to differentiate rural tourism from other forms of tourism exists. Even if there is
ambiguity between urban and rural and it is certainly difficult to speak about strictly rural
characteristics, people still shape images and views of the countryside that differ from those of the
town. The social representations of rural areas by the media and

Problem Statement
According to Polit & Beck, qualitative studies focus on the phenomenon under study and usually
begin with a problem statement (2017). The first sentence of the article is a quote by The American
Cancer Society, which shows that prostate cancer is higher in African–American men than any other
ethnic background in the United States (Hooper et al., 2017). Hooper et al. then continue to build
upon this to lead to the purpose of the study. The researchers did not give the problem statement
outright. The authors implied the problem throughout the introduction. In addition to the
African–American male predisposition to prostate cancer, the cancer is discovered at progressive

used a convenience sampling method to recruit participants with assistance from leaders and
organizers within the community (2017). According to Polit & Beck there are four key features that
most qualitative sampling strategies contain including; selection of participants does not occur at
random, samples tend to be small and studied intensively, sample members are not specified but are
emergent, conceptual requirements and not representativeness lead to sample selection (2017). With
this generalized understanding of qualitative sampling, Hooper et al. sampling is right in line with
qualitative sampling. Hooper et al. sample size is overall small with 43 participants, selected with
the assistance of local community leaders, to assure that they fit the disparities the researchers
hoped to cover and were able to provide in–depth data–rich information

Grant Proposals: A Case Study
To begin, the first thing that I believe represent significant challenges to success in writing grant
proposals when seeking funding from the federal government is making sure that I have
documenting organizational support. This means that I need to consider my application approval
and supporters of the sponsoring organization Bauer, (2015, p. 95). I will consider the supporters of
the sponsoring organization by filling out the Pre–proposal Summary & Approval Form before I
actual spend time writing my proposal. I will be able to share my ideas first to receive the
comments from organization leaders to endorse my solution and receive criticism of what may not
be a solution. This form can aid in helping me to test the acceptance of my idea with my superiors as
they agree on the use of the institutional resources before the proposal development.
The second significant challenge to success is how I can benefit by use of the Pre–proposal
Summary & Approval Form being approved before the actual proposal is submitted. The form will
be reviewed by the people who will sign the final proposal before it is sent in Bauer, (2015, p.96).
Time, money and the resources spent on the proposal preparation process will not result in failure

RE: Proposal for Final Project
I request that you accept my topic for the Writing 465 final project. Hopefully, I will be able to use
this project to help alleviate the current parking problem at Winthrop University. Jack Allen, from
Campus Police, and Walter Hardin, Associate Vice President for Facilities Management, have shown
interest in my project.
BACKGROUND
Winthrop University is a small public school with an enrollment of 5,065 undergraduate students
(Fall 2002). Although there is a wonderful parking system...show more content...
After years more of complaining, they decided to add a parking garage to their campus. Although
this garage eliminated 200 spaces, it added 613. The price of this garage was $5.5 million. Arkansas
State used the parking deck, as well as the reserved parking system to help alleviate their situation.
Many other campuses utilize the same systems, such as: University of Cincinnati, University of
Iowa, University of Louisville, University of Pittsburgh, University of South Florida, University of
Tennessee, University of Wisconsin, and many more.
There are currently only a handful of reserved spaces on campus, and the ground has yet to be
broken for the construction of the parking deck. In fact, Winthrop University does not even have
all the funds needed to build this parking deck. When I approached Jack Allen, of Campus Police,
with my idea of reserved parking spaces, he told me that he thought it was a good idea. Walter
Hardin, when given the same idea, seemed to think that the reserved parking system would not
realistically work out but was open to the proposal.
PROPOSED PROJECT
I am planning to find the funding needed to establish reserved parking at Winthrop University
through Campus Police and the current traffic and parking system. Hopefully, Winthrop University
and Campus Police will recognize the need and responsibility to fund these reserved parking spaces.

Currently the billing system is just as cumbersome. Each entity must enter medical data and billing
data separately. Again, this is a costly labor intensive procedure that allows for inaccuracies to go
undetected. Another intangible yet legitimate concern is the confusion caused to patients receiving
numerous billing statements and insurance claim submissions from each separate entity. The
implementation of an integrated medical records and billings system would offer several
opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of patient care. First, the data would be entered at
the source and become immediately available to all doctors and medical staff in the Northland
Medical Group. All treatment each patient receives would be consolidated in one digital medical
record. This would eliminate entirely the copying and physical transfer of medical records.
Redundancy would be reduced and accuracy would be increased giving the patient access to
enhanced medical care. Lab results would be available immediately upon completion of the
diagnostic testing allowing treatment to begin as much as two days earlier. Integrated records
management will allow proper medical codes to be assigned immediately as the data is entered at
the source. This would insure that an accurate and current billing statement would be available in
real–time. Consolidated billing would eliminate or reduce the number of billing statements required,
thus reducing cost of

It gives students an example of the sort of thing I want, plus some commentary (in italics) about what

meanings the sales staff and customers have for themselves as individuals and for their relationships,
as well as the meanings sales staff have for the organisation, group, and profession of which they are
members. The situational approach directs me to choose one or a few specific interactions to explore
in depth. Thus, an appropriate means of investigating the topic from this perspective is observation

Crime Research Proposal
RESEARCH PROPOSAL EXAMPLE 4. THIS PERSON RECEIVED A "9.8" INTRODUCTION
Micheal Gottfredson and Travis Hirschi's general theory of crime purports to be able to predict all
crime at all time and that a person's level of self–control is determined and unchangeable by age
eight. This researcher saw this theory as an awfully broad statement and an extremely pessimistic
view of human nature. By this logic, a person with a low score on the selfcontrol construct would be
almost guaranteed to commit crime given the appropriate opportunity and little can be done to
change that behavior. This researcher proposes that self–control can be learned and bolstered later in
life through extensive behavior modification programs that work to curb the...show more content...
Self–control theory enthusiasts claim that the characteristics of those with self–restraint are not
well–matched with the elements that characterize criminal and deviants acts (Gibbs et al 1998),
consequently this researcher hypothesizes that increasing self–control and restraint through behavior
modification will make criminal sexual opportunity less appealing and therefore decrease recidivism.
Dr. Lane, Research Proposal Ex 4, Spring 2001, page 2
LITERATURE REVIEW The general theory of crime is relatively new and controversial theory in
the realm of criminology. Micheal Gottfredson and Travis Hirschi published A General Theory of
Crime in 1990 and it went on to become the second most cited book in the entire 1990s (Pratt and
Cullen, 2000). Their theory is based on the argument, not unlike Hirschi's social bonding theory that
criminal activity is gratifying and the key to understanding participation in crime is discovering what
prevents people from breaking the law. They contend that committing crime and other analogous
behaviors (drinking, gambling, drug use, reckless driving, and unsafe sexual practices) start
manifesting in conduct problems early in life. The term "low self–control" is used to describe the
enduring "criminality" or "criminal propensity" that increases the likelihood that individuals will be
unable to resist the easy, immediate

Proposal On Gender Inequality
Research Proposal
Anna Ford
10/4/2017
SOC 210 Section 4102
Section 1
Gender Inequality has been a problem for centuries, and is still a huge problem today, which is why
I am choosing to write about it. The basic definition for gender inequality is simple. The textbook
says that gender inequality "takes the form of patriarchy, or male dominance" (Ferris, Stein, pg
246). This form of gender inequality can be explained by taking a look at some of the earliest
societies. Hunting and weapon making were needed for survival. Men were expected to do that
job, because women didn't have the same physical stature as men did. What the women were
expected to do was cooking the food the men brought back home, cleaning, and bearing/taking care
of the children. Patriarchy doesn't just affect women, it affects everyone. For example, since
women are seen as the emotional ones, and the ones that need to be taken care of and need
protection, if a guy gets emotional, he is told to "man up", and "quit acting like a baby". Society
thinks that it is wrong for men to show emotions and cry. The negative effects of patriarchy on
women also negatively effects the men just as much.
The past societies saw men being the protectors and women being the stay at home and nurturing
figures. The textbook tells us that here are two roles in a family setting. One of those roles is the
instrumental role. The instrumental role is "the position of the family member who provides the
family's Material support and is

My New Proposal for a New System Jamelia Hamilton Axia College of University of Phoenix
Health care is one of the most important benefits to the people of the United States. Everybody
needs health care and some people need more medical attention than others and some people do
not even need health care, except for their yearly exams. Today health care has many strengths,
weaknesses, and challenges. I have come up with a new exam that will hopefully benefit
everybody in some way. My vision for the new health care system is to one, make it more
affordable for everybody in the United States. Two, to make sure that everybody receives the
medical attention they need and deserve. The new health care plan I have come up with is called,

hard time paying for health care when they are on a fixed income. I believe that health care

and this proposal would take care of that. This health care proposal would make health care
cheaper for elders by reducing the cost of prescriptions and doctor visits. This health care plan also
eliminates health care for the people who do not need and gives medical attention to the ones who
do need it. For example, the people who have long–term illnesses, but cannot pay for it because they
cannot afford it or it is not in their current health care plan. The people who do have long–term
illnesses in their health care plan, but do have a long–term illness would no longer have to pay for it,
unless they became ill. This would help people realize what they are paying for and what they are
not paying for. This proposal also proposes that kids who are suffering from long–term illnesses get
paid so much money a year for health care expenses, well their parents or guardians would receive
the money and the money could be used for bills or health

Examples Of Irony In A Modest Proposal
Identify and close–read three examples of irony in "A Modest Proposal".
How does each instance criticize social perceptions of the poor? In 'A Modest Proposal' the author,
Jonathan Swift utilizes techniques such as satire, sarcasm, and irony to create a bigger picture to
the reader. Within the poem, Swift not only presents a humorous approach to social and economic
issues but does so in a well–constructed and carefully composed manner. A closer reading of the
text reveals a deeper critical analysis of the social perceptions of the poor at the time. Through
Swifts' use of irony, he creates a proposal that is so extremely absurd that some may believe the
piece to be genuine. By taking an issue and providing a corrupt and merciless solution, the writer
uses a unique approach to catch the attention of the people of Ireland and presents them a proposal
they cannot ignore. Through the use of irony, Swift creates a poem that not only criticizes social
perceptions of the poor but also remarks upon the issue without directly addressing the reader.
Beginning with an examination of the subtitle, the stance of the narrator and his views of the poor
are evident immediately. "...For Preventing the Children of Poor People in Ireland, from being a
Burden to their Parents or Country; and for making them beneficial to the Public." (Swift Para.1).
This example is a distinct instance of irony; in which Swift uses such long, elaborate sentence to
summarize his main proposition. By referring to

3.50 – 4.49 Agree

The researcher opted to use the questionnaire as a tool since it is easy to construct having the rules
and principles of construction are easy to follow. Moreover, copies of the questionnaire could
reach a considerable number of respondents either by mail or by personal distribution. Generally,
responses to a questionnaire are objectified and standardized and these make tabulation easy. But
more importantly, the respondents' replies are of their own free will because there is no interviewer
to influence them. This is one way to avoid biases, particularly the interviewers' bias. The researcher

Do you know the similarities and differences between a funding proposal and a research proposal?
According to the website learnerassociates.net/proposal, writing a funding proposal was created to
help empower people to be successful in gaining funds for projects that provide worthwhile social
service. Aresearch proposal considers your overall topic ideas, your research question, your
research process, and your sources and scaffolds what the next steps will be for the project. There
are similarities and differences between writing a funding proposal and a research proposal.
A research proposal is most often written by scholars seeking grant funding for a research project or
it's the first step in getting approval to write a doctoral dissertation. Even if this is just a course
assignment, the introduction is the initial pitch of an idea or a thorough examination of the
significance of a research problem. After reading the introduction, readers should not only
understand what is being proposed. Most proposals do not include an abstract before the
introduction. Background and Significance, this section can be melded into your introduction or
you can create a separate section to help with the organization and narrative flow of your proposal.
This is where you explain the context of your proposal and describe in detail why it's important.
Approach writing this section with the thought that you can't assume your readers will know as
much about the research problem as you do. Note

Project Proposal INTRODUCTION
Topic and Purpose
This proposal identifies the need for a document, which will propose and develop reasons why a
for–profit transportation service for Kent should be perused. This service should be considered
because of the recent parking and commuting problems both on and off campus.
There have been many reasons why on–campus parking has become difficult in recent years.
Increased student enrollment at Kent State University has posed many problems. The parking lots
cannot facilitate the growing need for vehicle parking. Campus officials have undertaken

The demand for student bus transportation has far exceeded the supply. Also, vandalism and
automotive theft has nearly doubled since 1997. DUI convictions have quadrupled in the city of
Kent since last year. The need for public transportation is quite clear.
Because of this evident crisis in transportation, a solution must be in order.
Scope
This proposal will outline and validate the impending document generally. First the general nature of
the document will be discussed; then the ensuing proposal will be outlined.
DISCUSSION OF PROPOSAL
Proposal
The proposed document must be constructed to demonstrate the need for a new for–profit
transportation service. It will present a business plan, and then go into detail about characteristics
specific to this service.
Methodology
Information about competitive transportation services will be gathered. Questionnaires will be

Although there are some problems in the current advising system, faculty mentors or advisors cannot

Research Proposal Examples KostasE. Sillignakis – www.sillignakis.com SAMPLE OF RESEARCH PROPOSAL: "Rural Tourism Development for the Prefecture of Lassithi in Crete." 1.0 INTRODUCTION TO PROBLEM STATEMENT AND PURPOSE OF STUDY Over the last two decades or so, the whole world has experienced rapid changes and socioeconomic transformations. The socioeconomic changes affected and caused severe stress mainly to isolated, peripheral and rural areas of the world. However, the changes in economic and social culture structure of the world caused decreased farm revenues, changing in the farmland values and high rates of unemployment, leading to mass exodus of the productive forces and lack of balance in the demographics of rural areas (Gannon, 1993). It is obvious from...show more content... 2.2 DEFINITION OF RURAL TOURISM Even though it seems simple to define rural tourism as "tourism that takes place in the countryside" this definition does not include the complexity of the activities and the different forms and meanings developed in different countries, as well as the number of protagonists participating in rural tourism (Lane, 1993). According to (Lane, 1994) it is difficult to define rural tourism since there is not a systematic source of data in rural tourism and neither World Tourism Organization (WTO) nor the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) have appropriate measures. Nevertheless, Opperman (1996) suggested that the field of rural tourism still lacks a comprehensive body of knowledge and theoretical framework. He argued that this is caused by a) Definitional problems concerning what constitutes rural tourism b) Lack of data sources on small, rural enterprises which makes rural tourism much less obvious and signifies much more tedious work for researchers in their quest for data (Butler et al, 1998:224). Although, the need to differentiate rural tourism from other forms of tourism exists. Even if there is ambiguity between urban and rural and it is certainly difficult to speak about strictly rural characteristics, people still shape images and views of the countryside that differ from those of the town. Qualitative Research ProposalSample Problem Statement According to Polit & Beck, qualitative studies focus on the phenomenon under study and usually begin with a problem statement (2017). The first sentence of the article is a quote by The American Cancer Society, which shows that prostate cancer is higher in African–American men than any other ethnic background in the United States (Hooper et al., 2017). Hooper et al. then continue to build upon this to lead to the purpose of the study. The researchers did not give the problem statement outright. The authors implied the problem throughout the introduction. With this generalized understanding of qualitative sampling, Hooper et al. sampling is right in line with qualitative sampling. Grant Proposals: ACase Study To begin, the first thing that I believe represent significant challenges to success in writing grant proposals when seeking funding from the federal government is making sure that I have documenting organizational support. This means that I need to consider my application approval and supporters of the sponsoring organization Bauer, (2015, p. 95). I will consider the supporters of the sponsoring organization by filling out the Pre–proposal Summary & Approval Form before I actual spend time writing my proposal. I will be able to share my ideas first to receive the comments from organization leaders to endorse my solution and receive criticism of what may not be a solution. This form can aid in helping me to test the acceptance of my idea with my superiors as they agree on the use of the institutional resources before the proposal development. The second significant challenge to success is how I can benefit by use of the Pre–proposal Summary & Approval Form being approved before the actual proposal is submitted. The form will be reviewed by the people who will sign the final proposal before it is sent in Bauer, (2015, p.96). After years more of complaining, they decided to add a parking garage to their campus. Although this garage eliminated 200 spaces, it added 613. The price of this garage was $5.5 million. Arkansas State used the parking deck, as well as the reserved parking system to help alleviate their situation. Many other campuses utilize the same systems, such as: University of Cincinnati, University of Iowa, University of Louisville, University of Pittsburgh, University of South Florida, University of Tennessee, University of Wisconsin, and many more. There are currently only a handful of reserved spaces on campus, and the ground has yet to be broken for the construction of the parking deck. In fact, Winthrop University does not even have all the funds needed to build this parking deck. When I approached Jack Allen, of Campus Police, with my idea of reserved parking spaces, he told me that he thought it was a good idea. Walter Hardin, when given the same idea, seemed to think that the reserved parking system would not realistically work out but was open to the proposal. Currently the billing system is just as cumbersome. Each entity must enter medical data and billing data separately. Again, this is a costly labor intensive procedure that allows for inaccuracies to go undetected. Another intangible yet legitimate concern is the confusion caused to patients receiving numerous billing statements and insurance claim submissions from each separate entity. The implementation of an integrated medical records and billings system would offer several opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of patient care. First, the data would be entered at the source and become immediately available to all doctors and medical staff in the Northland Medical Group. All treatment each patient receives would be consolidated in one digital medical record. This would eliminate entirely the copying and physical transfer of medical records. Redundancy would be reduced and accuracy would be increased giving the patient access to enhanced medical care. Lab results would be available immediately upon completion of the diagnostic testing allowing treatment to begin as much as two days earlier. Integrated records management will allow proper medical codes to be assigned immediately as the data is entered at the source. This would insure that an accurate and current billing statement would be available in real–time. Crime Research Proposal RESEARCHPROPOSAL EXAMPLE 4. THIS PERSON RECEIVED A "9.8" INTRODUCTION Micheal Gottfredson and Travis Hirschi's general theory of crime purports to be able to predict all crime at all time and that a person's level of self–control is determined and unchangeable by age eight. This researcher saw this theory as an awfully broad statement and an extremely pessimistic view of human nature. By this logic, a person with a low score on the selfcontrol construct would be almost guaranteed to commit crime given the appropriate opportunity and little can be done to change that behavior. This researcher proposes that self–control can be learned and bolstered later in life through extensive behavior modification programs that work to curb the...show more content... Self–control theory enthusiasts claim that the characteristics of those with self–restraint are not well–matched with the elements that characterize criminal and deviants acts (Gibbs et al 1998), consequently this researcher hypothesizes that increasing self–control and restraint through behavior modification will make criminal sexual opportunity less appealing and therefore decrease recidivism. Dr. Lane, Research Proposal Ex 4, Spring 2001, page 2 LITERATURE REVIEW The general theory of crime is relatively new and controversial theory in the realm of criminology. Micheal Gottfredson and Travis Hirschi published A General Theory of Crime in 1990 and it went on to become the second most cited book in the entire 1990s (Pratt and Cullen, 2000). Their theory is based on the argument, not unlike Hirschi's social bonding theory that criminal activity is gratifying and the key to understanding participation in crime is discovering what prevents people from breaking the law. They contend that committing crime and other analogous behaviors (drinking, gambling, drug use, reckless driving, and unsafe sexual practices) start manifesting in conduct problems early in life. The term "low self–control" is used to describe the enduring "criminality" or "criminal propensity" that increases the likelihood that individuals will be unable to resist the easy, immediate Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Proposal On GenderInequality Research Proposal Anna Ford 10/4/2017 SOC 210 Section 4102 Section 1 Gender Inequality has been a problem for centuries, and is still a huge problem today, which is why I am choosing to write about it. The basic definition for gender inequality is simple. The textbook says that gender inequality "takes the form of patriarchy, or male dominance" (Ferris, Stein, pg 246). This form of gender inequality can be explained by taking a look at some of the earliest societies. Hunting and weapon making were needed for survival. Men were expected to do that job, because women didn't have the same physical stature as men did. What the women were expected to do was cooking the food the men brought back home, cleaning, and bearing/taking care of the children. Patriarchy doesn't just affect women, it affects everyone. For example, since women are seen as the emotional ones, and the ones that need to be taken care of and need protection, if a guy gets emotional, he is told to "man up", and "quit acting like a baby". Society thinks that it is wrong for men to show emotions and cry. The negative effects of patriarchy on women also negatively effects the men just as much. The past societies saw men being the protectors and women being the stay at home and nurturing figures. The textbook tells us that here are two roles in a family setting. One of those roles is the instrumental role. The instrumental role is "the position of the family member who provides the family's Material support and is Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Everybody needs health care and some people need more medical attention than others and some people do not even need health care, except for their yearly exams. Today health care has many strengths, weaknesses, and challenges. I have come up with a new exam that will hopefully benefit everybody in some way. My vision for the new health care system is to one, make it more affordable for everybody in the United States. Two, to make sure that everybody receives the medical attention they need and deserve. Now the health care plans cost would go up each plan. The more on the plan, the more you pay. It is the same way with the family plan. My health care proposal also really benefits elders. Today, elders have a really hard time paying for health care when they are on a fixed income. I believe that health care should a lot cheaper for elders. I believe that elders should receive discounts on their prescriptions and this proposal would take care of that. This health care proposal would make health care cheaper for elders by reducing the cost of prescriptions and doctor visits. This health care plan also eliminates health care for the people who do not need and gives medical attention to the ones who do need it. For example, the people who have long–term illnesses, but cannot pay for it because they cannot afford it or it is not in their current health care plan. The people who do have long–term illnesses in their health care plan, but do have a long–term illness would no longer have to pay for it, unless they became ill. This would help people realize what they are paying for and what they are not paying for. This proposal also proposes that kids who are suffering from long–term illnesses get paid so much money a year for health care expenses, well their parents or guardians would receive the money and the money could be used for bills or health Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Examples Of IronyIn A Modest Proposal Identify and close–read three examples of irony in "A Modest Proposal". How does each instance criticize social perceptions of the poor? In 'A Modest Proposal' the author, Jonathan Swift utilizes techniques such as satire, sarcasm, and irony to create a bigger picture to the reader. Within the poem, Swift not only presents a humorous approach to social and economic issues but does so in a well–constructed and carefully composed manner. A closer reading of the text reveals a deeper critical analysis of the social perceptions of the poor at the time. Through Swifts' use of irony, he creates a proposal that is so extremely absurd that some may believe the piece to be genuine. By taking an issue and providing a corrupt and merciless solution, the writer uses a unique approach to catch the attention of the people of Ireland and presents them a proposal they cannot ignore. Through the use of irony, Swift creates a poem that not only criticizes social perceptions of the poor but also remarks upon the issue without directly addressing the reader. Beginning with an examination of the subtitle, the stance of the narrator and his views of the poor are evident immediately. "...For Preventing the Children of Poor People in Ireland, from being a Burden to their Parents or Country; and for making them beneficial to the Public." (Swift Para.1). This example is a distinct instance of irony; in which Swift uses such long, elaborate sentence to summarize his main proposition. By referring to Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Do you knowthe similarities and differences between a funding proposal and a research proposal? According to the website learnerassociates.net/proposal, writing a funding proposal was created to help empower people to be successful in gaining funds for projects that provide worthwhile social service. Aresearch proposal considers your overall topic ideas, your research question, your research process, and your sources and scaffolds what the next steps will be for the project. There are similarities and differences between writing a funding proposal and a research proposal. A research proposal is most often written by scholars seeking grant funding for a research project or it's the first step in getting approval to write a doctoral dissertation. Even if this is just a course assignment, the introduction is the initial pitch of an idea or a thorough examination of the significance of a research problem. After reading the introduction, readers should not only understand what is being proposed. Most proposals do not include an abstract before the introduction. Background and Significance, this section can be melded into your introduction or you can create a separate section to help with the organization and narrative flow of your proposal. This is where you explain the context of your proposal and describe in detail why it's important. Approach writing this section with the thought that you can't assume your readers will know as much about the research problem as you do. Note Get more content on HelpWriting.net
